Return To Sender Calls on Friday The 13th.

After only spending Ten Minutes in my Recliner last night, I actually slept in this morning, while laying in Bed.

The Clouds filled the sky this morning, so before waking Kathy I set about cooking breakfast. It was probably the Aroma, but Kathy walked into the Diningroom just as I was about to wake her. We shared a Bacon/Veggie Omelette, that was a little too much for Kathy.

Moving our Coffees to our Computers, the first thing I did was to look up some Phone Numbers. We have been in this Apartment over Six Years at this time and have continually received Mail for a former tenant that failed to change his address with lots of his contacts. All this time I have used a Marker to scratch off our address, circled his name and added the message, “Return To Sender, Moved October 2019”. Either Canada Post just tosses those, or the Sender ignored them. One site showed they were only available after 1:00, so I waited to call them. There were no Blue Words spoken, though when they tried saying that it was not a big deal, I simply repeated myself with a more demanding voice. Two down and more to go. I will find their contact numbers as they come in.

Another thing I did this morning was to check The Weather Network. It was surprising that this morning’s temperature of 45 F (7 C) was our high for the day. The West Winds gusts of 37-57 MPH (60-92 KMH) was the reason for the cool down. It was also the reason that Kathy did not want to go out. The Wind was rattling the Privacy Partition so hard against the Balcony Railing, that we had to nearly scream to hear one another talk.

Our Breakfast Omelette had been so filling, that we only ate some Grapes as a snack around 3:00 this afternoon.

If you recall in yesterday’s Blog that the “6 o’clock Local News” had warned us of Prices at the Pumps jumping today. Today they showed videos that it had but gave a warning that it would increase again tomorrow. They blamed the Conflict in Iran for the increase.

We should be seeing colder temperatures with some precipitation in the next week.

We finally had some Macaroni and Cheese for supper, before watching a few episodes of “Law and Order. Special Victims”. It is really sad when those things happen to Children.

We hope that everyone had a safe Friday the 13th. Only one more time this Year.
