Smiley Face.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

I was back and forth between the Recliner and Bed last night, moving every couple of hours, but when I got up just after 8:00, I was feeling quite rested.

Not wanting to have Brunch two days in a row, as soon as I had things nearly ready for breakfast, I opened the Bedroom Blinds, then pulled the Bedcovers low enough that it had Kathy joining me in a couple of minutes. Breakfast was simply Blueberry covered Cereal, with Coffee at the Computers.

The only improvement in today’s weather was the Sun was breaking through the Clouds whenever it could, as for the temperature, it was still below the Freezing Mark, but would later make it to 41 F (5 C).

Wanting to keep things lite, we had Chicken Noodle Soup for lunch but added a couple of Maple Cookies and Yogurt Cups for dessert.

After I got cleaned up, we were soon heading out the door. We had a little bit of time before our appointment, so I took the scenic route on Riverside Drive. We arrived at Fantastic Sam’s with Twenty Minutes to spare. Inside we talked with Retired School Teacher enjoying life and glad she is no longer in the classroom.

Julia arrived right on time. Starting with Kathy she had her feeling better in no time. Because I had requested thicker hair for the Winter we talked about going back to a Summer Cut, but not quite as short as when I was working. It felt so good to feel some coolness again.

We decided to have supper at Wendy’s closer to home, but I did not feel like taking the Expressway, so I headed north before remembering the Road Construction that was again taking place on Tecumseh Road at Walker Road. Luckily, I grew up nearby, went to school nearby and worked a number of jobs in my early career nearby. I cut across by taking Ypres, which has a 40 Kmh (25 MPH) speed limit. I try very hard to follow Speed Limit, but today the Computerized Speed Sign gave me a Smiley Face😀 because I was actually under. Miracles never cease to amaze me.

When we arrived at Wendy’s we ordered Cheesy Nachos instead of Fries to go with our Chicken Sandwiches for supper. That was a nice change.

After doing more Detours we finally arrived at our building, we sensed the Wind Gusts coming from the Northeast, so we headed towards the front entrance. It worked perfectly and we didn’t freeze like we would have by going to the rear like we normally do.

Like all the other News Medias, the 6 o’clock Local News basically rehashed the same News they have been saying for days. It will be a long month before the Election is over.

Later we watched “Chicago Med” “Chicago Fire” and Chicago P.D.” for some entertainment.

Though it is supposed to be cold in morning, tomorrow afternoon is looking like a great day to get things done.

Words of Inspiration

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.
