Painful Oops.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Since Kathy sleeps better when I get to Bed sooner than later, I started my night sleeping in Bed. After Two Hours of staring at the ceiling, I headed out to my Recliner, which only lasted for Thirty Minutes because I was still awake, but getting dry mouthed in the process from the CPAP Machine. Back in Bed left me wide awake again. If I could have crawled under a rock I would have. I finally got Three Hours of sleep in my Recliner.

I barely got things ready for a breakfast snack when Kathy came out to join me. The Weather Network showed we were again only at 27 F (-3 C) at 8:00 in the morning. Their forecast showed that it would be a beautiful Sunny day, with no chance of Rain.

We got all our morning reading finished, along with getting ready to head out after lunch. Breakfast was long gone and I didn’t want to spend too much time making lunch, so we shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Three Meat Pizza.

It was above 50 F (10 C) when we headed out and the Southwest Winds were light when we took the Truck. The Lauzon Road Construction Zone has extended onto Riverside Drive so we kept going to Jefferson. We were only Mile down the road when we saw a Sign saying that Jefferson will be closed for further Construction starting next week. Those are the Two Major North/South Thoroughfares that are adjacent to one another. That means the Detours could add Ten Miles just to get the Mail.

Arriving at Guardian Storage we found plenty of Mail waiting for us, one just happened to be another Tax Form. We’ll be able to do our Tax Returns next weekend.

We headed back to the Workshop/Storage Unit and continued emptying Two of the Shelving Units, before disassembling them to move. The unit is starting to look sparse.

We then headed to the Climate Controlled Unit so we could start putting the shelves together and refilling them. With the Frames together Kathy went out to the Truck to start bringing things in while I started laying the shelves in place, starting with the lowest level. Since my Hip Replacement, I have been struggling to do anything close to the floor. I was slipping in the bottom shelf when my legs gave out, sending me down on my Backside, then down on my Back. Having had work related injuries in both areas, I could barely move from the Pain. Kathy started to panic when she found me sprawled out on the floor. Everything I tried leaning against to get up kept sliding away. Because I was basically jammed in a tight spot, my Hip started feeling like it did Three Days after the Surgery. Though I had wanted to empty the one Storage Unit today, that was no longer happening. Good thing because our Clear Weather day started dropping Rain on us.

I dropped Kathy at the Front Entrance of our building before parking the Truck. Once inside the Apartment we both needed an Extra Strength Tylenol to ease our Pains. That’s my first since before the Christmas Holidays.

It took extra time to saute the Asparagus, Potato Slices and the Salmon Fillets for supper. We ate while watching the 6 o’clock Local News. We topped it off with a small dish of Chocolate Frozen Yogurt for dessert.

With the dished cleaned up we started watchingMatlockthen because many of our regular programs are not on, we tried to watchGood Cop/Bad Cop”. We just could not get into it so we got ready for bed before watching The Pitt”. That’s a good program.

It feels like I need another Tylenol before spending the night in my Recliner.
