Last night we both took a Half Dose of ZzzQuil to help us sleep. Kathy slept soundly the entire night, but at 3:00, I was up taking the other Half Dose so that I could sleep the rest of the night.
Though I managed an earlier start than Kathy, the best I could do was to start getting things ready for breakfast. Most people like Peanut Butter on Buttered Toast, but Kathy proved to me that it tastes better with Butter on top of the Peanut Butter. It really does taste better.
Since it was a late breakfast, it ended with a late lunch, where we shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Hawaiian Pizza with Extra Pineapple.
After cleaning the Dishes, we were soon heading out to run some errands.
First,
we had to go pick up Kathy’s medication that I called into Health
First Pharmacy
on Wednesday.
Everything was ready and with the new Contract
between Ford
Motor Canada
and the National
Union,
there
was no Co-Pay
necessary.
Our next stop was at Guardian Storage to pick up our Mail before it gets locked in for the Canadian Long Weekend.
Next on the list was Motor City Community Credit Union, to make our monthly payments. Thankfully our Government Cheques come in before my Pension.
Leaving there right in the middle of Rush Hour had me travelling around the back of the building to get to the Grocery Store. There was a big uproar about high food costs while some were reporting Higher Profits than before Covid. The Government put a stop to that, but it’s still expensive.
Rush Hour Traffic was just inching along so we stopped at Burger King to use a Coupon for supper.
We had just finished putting everything away in the Apartment, when the 6 o’clock Local News came on. It was after that, we remembered to take our evening pills.
We watched another Murder Mystery for evening entertainment.
As I was turning down the bed, I remembered an errand that we forgot to do today, and tomorrow is supposed to be wet all day. We’ll figure it out.

What did sushi A say to sushi B?
“Wasabi!”
We have been recording food prices for several years. I don't know what the government did to give relief, but we sure aren't seeing it. Milk alone has gone from 6.02 to 6.80 in two months. Surprisingly, junk food has stayed pretty stable, while staples have skyrocketed.
