Though I’d had a fair night’s sleep, I was again awake much earlier than expected, while feeling quite rested. Besides getting things ready for breakfast, I had already finished reading all the Media and Messages heading my way, before Kathy joined me, nearly an Hour later. Though she said she slept well, it felt like she’d just gotten to bed.
When it came to lunch, we needed something satisfying but not overly filling. We had Split Pea with Ham Soup for lunch along with the last of the fresh Pineapple for dessert. After cleaning up we went back to the Computers until it was time to leave.
We left early, thinking about Rush-Hour Traffic along with Road Construction, then not knowing how long it would take to get in the Hospital itself. We only stopped at Two Traffic Lights and Three Stop Signs, getting us there much earlier than expected. As soon as you entered the lobby, the Admissions Desk is right there. If you were called by Radiology with an appointment, just keep going and forget the line of people ahead of you.
After I was prepped for the test, we had to wait for nearly an Hour before it was actually done. One gentleman who had arrived early, was nearly an Hour past his appointed time, before having his test. We were pulling out of the parking lot, Five Minutes before my appointed time.
Kathy mentioned that she was starting to feel hungry. From that moment we had the next Thirty Traffic Lights all Green. Of course the one right before we pulled into A&W for supper was Red. We used a Coupon to save on our meal.
As we were heading for the stores, I noticed one Gas Station manually lowering the price on their display board, like they did back in the 70’s. Looking at the Gas Gauge told me it was time to fill up.
Before heading home, we stopped at Shoppers Drug Mart to take advantage of Twenty Percent Senior’s Day Savings, before we stopped at Dollarama to restock on Juice and Brisk Iced Tea at prices much lower than the grocery stores. It was past 7:30 when we walked in the Apartment and as soon as we did, we remembered everything that we had forgot to buy. Next time we’ll have to bring that List.
There are more calls and errands that we need to take care of tomorrow.
