As a way of being certain that Kathy would sleep better last night, she again reluctantly took a dose of ZzzQuil. It took a Half Hour for her to fall asleep, but she didn’t even feel me Tossing and Turning, even though it was less than I normally do.
When I looked outside the Rain was pouring down and the Lightning was flashing across the sky. Checking the Radar the cell was coming from the north but would make its way south before lunch.
Though I slept later, breakfast was nearly ready when Kathy joined me. We hate losing food because it’s the same as throwing our money away. We had a dish of Strawberries and Yogurt for our morning meal.
Trying
to cut back on my own Caffeine
intake, we again brought our Herbal
Teas
to the Computers.
The first thing I checked, was if my delivery had been made. It had
been delivered Eight
Minutes
before Guardian
Storage
would have
Closed
yesterday.
Since we didn’t receive a call from the Storage Yard, I tried calling them. They must be training a new girl for the summer because she would not answer the simple question, “Did my package arrive”? When I finally said in a displeased tone, that we were on our way, she quickly affirmed it was there.
With it still Raining at noon, we had Split Pea with Ham Soup for lunch along with Bing Cherries for dessert.
We were about ready to start transplanting the newer Flowers that Kathy has, when we realized that we didn’t have any stones to put in the Flowerpots to give drainage for the roots.
Looking
outside the Rain
had stopped and the pavement was drying. The
first place we went was Guardian
Storage
where Kathy collected the Mail
as well as our Package.
We then had to go make a deposit at the Credit
Union.
Going to Dollarama, we could not find any stone, but since we were running low on Brisk Iced Tea, we got Four to tide us over.
We went to The Home Depot and Canadian Tire. Lots of walking, but no stone. We stopped at Harvey’s where we enjoyed our supper and gave my leg a chance to rest.
On our way home there was another Dollarama that we visited. There was no stone left in the Gardening aisle, but then Kathy remembered something. We went over to the Hobby aisle and there were bags of the Beach Stones we needed.
Our
Local
News
was pre-empted for a World
Cup Soccer Game.
Checking the Radar, we’ll have a clear day tomorrow.
