After surviving the high Humidex yesterday, it would have been impossible to sleep with the same overnight. We turned the Air Conditioner on before laying down for the night. Having a Tower Fan redirecting some of that cooler air into the bedroom, we scrambled to cover up through the night. When we woke up, we had to shut the AC off because it was down to 61 F (16 C) inside the Apartment.
Again I managed to be steps away from serving breakfast when Kathy joined me. The Banana Pancakes were tastier than the other day, because I had more Bananas to use up.
Looking outside there was nobody out walking on the Ganatchio Trail at 9:00, because it already felt like 102 F (39 C). In the meantime we simply left our Bedroom Window and Balcony Door closed while we used our Coffees to warm up at the computers. We could have warmed up sooner, but then we would have had to turn on the AC sooner.
Lunch was Grilled Cheese Sandwiches with Spiced Apple Tea, again to help us warm up.
As we worked later in the afternoon, we actually stopped shivering. Our daughter Karen was on her way home from work and with the use of Bluetooth was able to talk with us as she maneuvered round the City-Wide Construction. She was happy to hear that we had stayed in.
For supper we shared a Side of Spareribs, with Sweet Potato Fries and Asparagus as sides. We also topped it off with Bing Cherries for dessert.
After cooking Three Meals throughout the day, the 108 F (42 C) outside Humidex was starting to warm things up inside, so we turned on the AC at 7:00 and want to shut it before going to bed. After not running it for Ten Hours through the heat of the day, we should sleep comfortably without it.
