Back Order Arrives and A Prayer.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

The added Extra Strength Tylenol only carried me until 2:00 this morning, before I had to add a second one for the rest of the night.

I actually lay in bed staring at the Clock, only to feel Kathy get up at 8:00. Taking my time, to make my way to the living room, I was surprised to find Kathy catching a few more minutes of shut eye. She was startled to see me standing there.

After having Toast for breakfast, we took our Coffees to the Computers. That all sounds so repetitive, but then things changed.

I’ve often mention that both Kathy and I have Sleep Apnea and use CPAP Machines to sleep. One of the first places of business we went to after my Re-Retirement this past January was to Vital-Aire, to get more supplies. Since they didn’t have everything on hand they said they would call us when things came in. Kathy and I stopped in again during the Winter Break in March and got our new Masks, but not everything was there, due to Back Order Issues.

Just as the Computers came On-Line this morning, we got the call, that the rest of our supplies were in. It didn’t take long for us to head out the door. The quickest way to get to Vital-Air was by the Expressway, so we arrived in less than a Half Hour, while following the speed limit. While I was parking the Car, Kathy was able to go inside and return with the remaining supplies.

We were on our way back towards home, when we stopped at Guardian Storage, to collect the last of this week’s Mail. It was then that we realized it was past 1:00 and we still had more errands to run. Strangely there were Coupons from Wendy’s in the Mail Kathy had just retrieved. Was that a sign or what?

We finished off our errands at Dollarama and Zehr’s grocery store before finally getting back to the Apartment. Even though the North Wind had been moderate, with the 63 F (17 C) temperature we were more than comfortable.

For anyone that has ever shopped at Kenny’s Grocery Outlet in Quartzsite, our good friends Wayne and Sue from Washington State reported that Kenny had a Stroke. Anyone that believes in the power of Prayer, it would be much appreciated at this time.

With the late lunch still keeping us satisfied, it was after 7:00 before we shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Hawaiian Pizza for supper.

We also watched a couple of Hallmark Mystery Movies to pass the evening.

We’ll be seeing near summer like temperatures this weekend, but it will also be very Wet.

  1. You guys seem to like Hawaiian pizza. We learned how to make our own and they are better than any store bought ones out there. Contact us for the recipe. We just use a regular oven and they turn out great. Also, if you like more pineapple or pine nuts or whatever, no problem, just add more.

  2. That is too bad about Kenny. I hope he makes a full recovery!

  3. Have you tried Tylenol Arthritis, it is an 8 hour release pill, two at bedtime and again in the morning may help with the pain. Of course 8 hours isn’t always possible but I have found it lasts longer than the extra strength.
Hopefully Kenny makes a full recovery.

  4. We'd also heard about Ken, such a likeable and generous man. I just heard that the stroke has left him blind which is so sad. I sure hope things improve for him.
