Timing Makes A Difference.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

If I had remembered to take my Nighttime Mickey an Hour before going to bed, I could have slept the entire night. Having waited until the Harry Porter movie was over, meant that it was past Midnight before I fell asleep.

It was nice seeing dry pavement when we opened Balcony Blinds. Looking down at the Ganatchio Trail, there was a jogger wearing Shorts and a Coat heading one way, while going in the opposite direction were pairs of walkers bundled up for a storm. It was Windy.

I was serving breakfast when Kathy answered a call from Guardian Storage that a Package had arrived for us. We enjoyed breakfast and the morning on the Computers before heading out.

The Wind that greeted us as we walked out of the building, made us happy we’d worn moderate weight jackets.

At Guardian Storage, Kathy retrieved the Package, but found no Mail in our box. As soon as she sat back in the Car, with a smile on her face, she said “You ordered a Book”. (What gave it away?)

I’ve mentioned our friend and Former Fulltime RVer NickRussell, has been writing Mystery Books for quite a few years. Besides stand-alone books, he also has Three Different Series, that he alternates between. There is the John Lee Quarrels series, the Tinder Street series and the Big Lake series. One thing Nick researches a lot of Historical Facts that he uses as a basis of his stories. His Books can be purchased on Amazon as a Kindle download, Paperback and some are presently being made into Audible Books. Kathy is already reading, as I write this Blog.

It was nearly 2:00 when we left the Storage Yard, so we stopped at Arby’s to have lunch. If we did not use Coupons, we wouldn’t be eating out as often as we do. We had a chance to talk as we ate, and Kathy said she was feeling stiff from the work she did yesterday. I suggested she needed to walk it off.

We headed over to Walmart, where I dropped Kathy at one door, so she could start walking around. I went in the door closest to the groceries. I started looking at some of the things we normally eat and found some at big savings. Our Fridge and Freezer are again filled and I saved Fifteen Dollars doing so.

It’s going to be another cold night, but we can handle it, and I’ve already taken my Nighttime Mickey.

  1. I guess Nick Russell's books are page turners? Which of the series does Kathy like best?
