Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Strange as it may seem, there were no Power Outages to wake us throughout the night and we even managed to wake at a decent time. Though this would be a terrible thing to say, not waking up to the Sun peeking around the Blinds might have had something to do with it.
Looking out the Balcony Door all you could see were large puddles being stirred by the constant Rain. As soon as we’d had a breakfast snack, I turned on the Radar to see what was coming our way. Just the size of it scared the heck out of Kathy.
While she was getting changed, I tried zeroing in on the Clouds around us. I always presumed that the Blue Dot on the Radar Map was Google picking up our exact location. The closer I zoomed in the farther from us the Dot got. I was finally able to pinpoint the location to someone’s backyard, in an older part of the city, Seven Miles Away. It wasn’t even near the Windsor Airport, where the Environment Canada gets all its Weather Information from. Either way, we should see the Sun on Saturday.
With chores, we’d Planned on doing yesterday still needing our attention, we chose to have an early lunch, before digging in. I had Two Weeks of Laundry to do, and Kathy wanted to do some cleaning. Normally I try to do this on Wednesdays and the Laundry Room is not very busy. I’d just gotten my Three Loads going when it seemed everyone in the building decided to do the same. Some claimed, they had never seen me there before and they are always there on a Thursday. The difference a day makes.
I had to sit for a few minutes after folding our clean clothes and getting back to the Apartment. Kathy had exerted herself so much, she needed a shower to freshen up. As soon as I’d put my clothes away, I started making supper.
Eating at 4:00 is not our norm but we’d worked off our early lunch. We enjoyed our Veggie Wraps, then we topped it off with a scoop of Chocolate Frozen Yogurt for dessert.
The Rain only stopped a few times today and looks like an All-Day Event tomorrow. Think we might need our Inflatable Kayak.
