Locked Cell.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

With a little less tossing and turning on my part we both managed to sleep a little better. We must have been so overtired from the last few days, that we even slept past 9:00 this morning.

To clarify what the Nighttime Mickey is that I have been taking, is a combination of a Prescribed Medication, that alone does not work. I then add a 10 mg of Melatonin a natural ingredient that our bodies produce less as we age. If my Hip/Leg Pain is too intense I will add an Extra Strength Tylenol, if there is little pain, it is not taken. If that combination does not work, I will add a dose of ZzzQuil by Vicks. The reason that combination is not routine, is because everything you ingest is processed through your Liver, so if I can give it a rest once in a while, it’s better. I also don’t want to become dependent on them in order to sleep.

Our meals were in a muddle today, after a Cookie for a late breakfast, we shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Hawaiian Pizza for lunch.

We had just finished when Kathy’s phone started ringing, but no matter how hard we tried, we could not answer it. We even tried seeing who the caller was, but as soon as we touched the Phone App, the screen would go blank.

Since we no longer have a Landline, and most of our Doctor’s Offices use that number to call us, we figured we had to get it fixed. We headed to the Bell outlet at the Tecumseh Mall. Mark tried a number of things before declaring the Cell Locked. He had to connect it to their Computer System and with the touch of a few more keys, it was back to working the way it should.

We returned to the Zehr’s grocery store to pick up a few Dairy, Produce and Pastry that we go through often. No Pizzas on this trip.

Kathy had been looking unsuccessfully On-Line to find some Coasters, to use on our new End-Tables. I then remembered when we had our House that we often found things at a place called Winners. It was quite the walk but worth every step, because now we have the Coasters that we can use.

It was barely 4:00 when we realized we were getting hungry, from all the walking. We used Coupons at Arby’s and enjoyed Strawberry Milkshakes and Reuben Sandwiches for supper. We were just sitting down when Kathy’s phone, again started ringing. Our daughter Karen called to invite Kathy to a Girls Day Out for next weekend.

With no access to Local News on the Television, on the weekends, we made up for it by watching a couple of Hallmark Movies.

Words of Inspiration

You may have a fresh start at any moment you choose, for this thing that we call “failure” is not the falling down but the staying down.

  2. Are you another fella that's gonna need a hip replacement? There seems to be a lot of that going round.
