Making Changes To Changes, Meeting Murray and We Forgot.

Strangely we both slept soundly last night but we woke up feeling tired as if we had a restless night. For anyone who has already been diagnosed as having Sleep Apnea you will recall feeling like that everyday leading up to the Sleep Study. Since we’ve just gone through Sleep Studies back in August we just figure we are still not used to sleeping in a building that doesn’t rock at night when the Wind blows.

This morning we sat at our Computers until shortly after 10:00 before moving on to our chores. When they were finished I started assembling the Bookshelf that we want to use for our Television/Entertainment Center. It went together perfectly but we soon saw room for improvement. The first thing we saw was the Foot Pads that were supplied would not slide too well on the Laminate Flooring and we wanted more shelves.

We also noticed that the Wall Bracket we purchased yesterday would not support the weight of our Samsung Plasma Television. The decision was made to return it and just add Safety Lines to the Wall and Television so we don’t hear a crash in the middle of the night.
For our late lunch today Kathy wanted something different to eat. I’ve mentioned that she occasionally picks up some ready made foods to try so that if we need something quick it’s there. Today she tried a Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls along with Chicken Fried Rice that each had Two Separate Servings. What the Producer considered One Serving was more then enough to feed the both of us and it tasted good. We also finished the Leftover Multi-Berry Pie for dessert.
Around 1:30 we headed out with things we needed to do. We don’t like to drive back and forth to run errands so we try to do a loop to save time and distance. Our first stop was Home Depot where we found another Shelf and the Support Pins for the Book Shelf. The Shelf will need to be trimmed but we can handle that.
We next went to Princess Auto to return the Television Mounting Bracket. We walked the Surplus Area again finding a couple items that found there way home with us. I also ran into Murray a Tin Smith that I worked with for nearly Thirty Years. We had a short talk about the Past and Present before wishing one another a bright Future.
We then headed to Dollarama where I exchanged a faulty LED Lamp for a working one. They will not give refunds on things but they allow exchanges.
It was past 4:00 and Kathy suggested we use up a Gift Card we still had for supper and she wanted something different. We went to East Side Mario’s where we enjoyed our Soup and Salad before the meal arrived. Since we are watching not to over eat as soon as our Chicken Parmesan was delivered we cut them in Half along with the Penne. Once we ate the One Half we asked for a Food Box to bring the rest home for another meal. Too much pasta is not good for the Waistline.

We got home on time to watch the 6 o’clock Local News. When I went to measure the Shelf to cut it I realized we didn’t make a List today of things we needed to do and get. We didn’t get the Felt Liners for under the Bookshelf and I had planned on adding Two Shelves not One. We finished the evening watching a Hallmark Movie. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!
