Not Recharged, Change Of Landscape and Wonderful Visit.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

Kathy slept solid through the entire night only waking once I got up this morning. Due to the Sinus Problems she is presently having her CPAP Mask wasn’t doing her much good because she was sleeping with her mouth open. The sound that was escaping was what was keeping me awake until I was able to pull the Blankets over my head to block the sound out.

As soon as I had things ready for breakfast I looked out to see a change in the landscape with everything looking close the same colour. Checking The Weather Network showed we were at our high for the day with a steady decline as the day wore on.

After finishing breakfast we did our usual Computer reading before getting into our morning chores. Once those were finished I started making our data entries in our Expenditure Spreadsheet. It was amazing how many we already accumulated just One Week into the Year.

We had Chicken Noodle Soup for lunch with a Chocolate Pudding Cup for dessert. We both had some chores to do. Since Kathy didn’t properly recharge her Oxygen Levels last night by mouth breathing she was really feeling tired and needed to have a Snap before getting ready to head out.

Our first stop was Guardian Storage to check for Mail and to pick up our Amazon Package that I forgot about yesterday.

From there we headed over to our dear friend Vera’s Condo. Since it was so cold from the Northwest Wind blowing off the Detroit River I dropped Kathy off so she could call up Vera to say we were there. We haven’t seen her since last fall and we were all going out for supper. Kathy sat with Vera in the Back Seat of our Car making it look like I was the Chauffeur.

Since it was still light out we drove a few blocks further past our turn to show Vera where our apartment is located. Vera suggested going to East Side Mario’s for supper since she hasn’t been in years. That was fine with us even though we were here only a week ago. We spent the entire time catching up with what has been happening in all our lives.

After our meal was over we headed back to our Apartment where we gave Vera the grand tour and Kathy showed her what we’ve done and plan to do to make it more comfortable for our stay. Then we headed back to Vera’s Condo to continue our visit. It’s been less then a year since Bill has passed and she needed Kathy’s opinion about a number things. It was nearly 9:00 when we gave our Hugs and Well Wishes for the night.

We are both tired tonight and hope to recharge with a good night’s sleep. Not sure what we’ll be doing tomorrow. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
