Other then the 5:00 AM telephone call this morning from a Telemarketer we both slept like a couple of rocks. With Kathy
having to take a Tylenol Sinus Tablet before going to bed she managed to sleep even later.
Rain washed away the SXXW overnight.
When I looked outside at 8:00 this morning there wasn’t a shred of SXXW anywhere in the parking lot because the Rain had washed it all away. There wasn’t any sign of the Sun either because the Clouds were even thicker then they were yesterday. After getting things ready for breakfast and getting all my morning Blog reading done I figured it was time to wake Kathy. Opening the Blinds in the Bedroom brought in no additional light so I had to wake her with a Kiss. Works just like Sleeping Beauty.

I had to turn the light over the dining table on so we could see the Muffins we were eating. With it being that dismal looking outside Kathy said if I had not woke her she would have probably slept until noon.
We spent time doing chores and looking at different things On-Line before getting ready for lunch. It was really easy because it was already made. When we went out with Vera to East Side Mario’s we all got Buy One Entree and get a choice of a Select Meal to take home free. We had Linguine Alfredo and even though it was a more realistic size we were quite satisfied once we were done.

Since we had so many errands to run yesterday I didn’t make it to the Gym. After we discussed a few more things Kathy today decided to stay home so she could do some reading, more organizing and cooking.

When I went outside the Rain was still coming down but inside the Car was dry. My first stop was at the Pioneer gas station to top off our gasoline. Then I checked for Mail at Guardian Storage before heading over to Planet Fitness. I spent more time doing Cardio as a way of wearing off lunch before doing Free Weights and Resistance Training. When I looked at the time I had spent Two Hours working out the kinks and it felt wonderful.

While I was away Kathy received a call from Greg our son-in-law letting us know that our son Ken was in the Hospital with a possible blockage. There were so many patients ahead of him that he was shipped by ambulance across the International Border over to the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He is now recovering after they added Stints to open up some blocked Arteries.
Heavier Rain before supper. Going to get heavier.
It was nearly 5:00 by the time I got back to the apartment and Kathy already had Scalloped Potatoes and Meat Loaf ready for supper before topping it off with Lemon Meringue Pie for dessert. Good thing I worked off lunch.
Not often we get Rainfall Warnings.
That was our temperature the entire day.
After watching the 6 o’clock Local News we watched another Law and Order as well as a Nancy Drew episode.

The Rain has increased since I got home and is forecasted to bring between Two to Three Inches with the possibility of Thunderstorms overnight. It is also raising the risk of Localized Flooding. Thankfully we are on the Eighth Floor. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. Well, well Prince Charming. I knew it!
Good to hear your son is getting good care. I assume the Ontario government covers those costs of care in the US.

The writing is very small, is it possible you could make it larger?
