Our Location today is McGregor, Ontario,
Canada.
There seems to be a
similarity when we have nights where we don’t feel rested in the morning. We had
the windows closed. The nights the windows are open and we are breathing all
that fresh air we sleep like a couple of rocks. The problem is that when the
high Humidex becomes unbearable and makes
breathing difficult we have no other choice but to turn on the Air Conditioning thus the windows get
closed.
We both over-slept this
morning yet felt like we were barely rested when we got up this morning. Looking
out the windows didn’t help looking at a cloud filled sky with water puddles on
the patio from last night’s Thunder
Storm. There wasn’t a trace of a breeze anywhere, no flags or trees giving the
slightest movement. Even though we managed to have a normal breakfast we just
felt like we were dragging. Our Coffee/Tea
were finished while completing our morning reading on the Computers before completing our morning chores. Between making
phone calls and updating some of our files we didn’t even bother going outside.
For lunch Kathy made Perogies while I applied Boursin Cranberry Cheese to some Wheat Thins and our dessert was a Clementine Orange each.
We were still busy working
on the computers when Val our Landlord
stopped by just to be certain we were happy with our new site. Just standing
outside for those few short moments took our breathes away. You could tell it
was hot when you didn’t see anyone out on the Golf Course the entire day.
Supper was even quicker
then lunch when Kathy cooked up a couple of personal sized Beef Tortes with an Apple
Sauce cup for dessert.
Our area has more Severe Thunder Storms forecasted for
tonight as well as tomorrow but hopefully we’ll be back up to speed for
tomorrow so we can continue getting things done on our To-Do List. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe
and Enjoy!
It’s about time.
