I think that I could have slept the entire night, until Kathy kept waking me about our Imaginary Friends making so much noise in the Livingroom. Knowing better I actually got up to check it out, but the moment I told her that she was again dreaming, she went off like a Roman Candle. The sleep I had awaken from was all that I would get for the night. I might have started to doze off around 7:00 but by 7:20 she was standing by the Bed, fully dressed and telling me that I was sleeping in. I had barely gotten Three Hours sleep and got up with a sleep deprived Headache.
We
started our day with Cereal
for breakfast, with our Coffees
at the Computers.
Suddenly Kathy was hot and later told me she had been sweating so
immediately went
for a shower. Later when
I
asked Why,
she went off again. I
was finishing off the Dishes
when she again went by me without saying a word. As
I
went to see where she was, I noted her Hat
and Cane
were
gone and the Apartment
door was
unlocked.
I thought she was just going for a walk, but when I looked out the
Window,
there she was getting in the Car
and driving away. I could only hope that she would just drive around
the block before coming back, but time was ticking and I did not know
what to do. I believe my lack of sleep may have led to my inability
to think clearly, so I called someone who I knew could.
As much
as I hated to disturb her at work, I called our daughter Karen. After
she got all the details, she
told me to call our Family
Doctor
in case he could figure out what was causing the hallucinations of
our mysterious visitors. Not certain of Kathy’s driving abilities,
Karen called the Windsor
Police Department
to report a Senior
in Distress.
After talking with Lisa the Receptionist, at the Doctor’s Office, she said the Doctor would call around Noon. Yesterday’s unaccomplished Plan was going to be unaccomplished again today. Needing to do something with my time I grabbed the Recycle to bring it to the outside bins. As I was getting off the elevator, Police Officers were already talking to the new in-house Building Manager. Getting a little closer I could hear them speaking of Kathy. There I was with my arms full of Recycle with my Cane and Phone giving them information. When I asked why I was dealing with Recycle rather than looking for Kathy, I responded the Sticker on our Truck is temporarily expired and it was better I do the recycle rather than go crazy.
They came up to the Apartment checking for recent Photographs and how I knew our Car was gone. I pointed to our Truck and said the Car should be facing it. Just then Karen called so I handed them my phone. She repeated hat information that she had already given to the Dispatcher earlier. All of a sudden, their Radios were reporting the Vehicle in question pulling into our building’s driveway. I can only imagine the shock Kathy had when she opened her Car door and Two Police Officers were standing there asking her questions.
As they were escorting Kathy in the building, our daughter Karen was pulling in. They all came in the Apartment together, Kathy, Karen, Four Officers and the Sargent. Kathy thought I had called the Police, but Karen admitted to that. In the middle of all that, our Family Doctor called so I took that to the Bedroom. When I came out Karen and Kathy were the only ones there.
Karen took Kathy to pick up some things she needed at Dollarama and Shoppers Drug Mart, while I was cooking up lunch. Once it was ready, I lowered it to simmer before calling to say lunch was ready, because the lack of sleep and my Sugar burning off, I needed to eat. I was told to go ahead.
They arrived an Hour later. Karen said she was good and would talk to us later. Once the table was cleared off, we sat at the Computers. Kathy started to nod off a few times but I kept asking her questions, I think she got tired of that and had me find something to watch on TV. Before I could do that, she started telling me of Tornadoes hitting LaSalle and Windsor, then London. London was weeks ago, but LaSalle and Windsor were nearly Ten Years ago, when we started Fulltiming. She shut her computer and asked where the girls had gone. Instead of asking what girls, I simply said, "I didn’t see them” and that was the end of it for the moment. She would ask the same question Four more times throughout the evening.
Our granddaughter Kylla is taking Kathy out for breakfast tomorrow and we have a 12:00 Doctor’s Appointment.

Krackers
If an English teacher is convicted of a crime and doesn’t complete the sentence, is that a fragment?
My husband had Alzheimers and took the car out twice after he had promised his doctor not to drive anymore. After the second time I gathered all the keys, put them in a ziplock and found a hiding place where he never found them. My worry was that he would have an accident and under the circumstances we could have been sued.
