Another Scorcher and Bad Sound Engineering

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

By the time last night’s Blog was published, my Right Shoulder that I have had repeated Pain Block Injections was screaming at me. I’m not certain what brought that on, because the hardest thing I did all day was to go out for our Anniversary Meal at Wendy’s, so I added an Extra Strength Tylenol to my Nighttime Pills. When I took them, I was nearly falling asleep standing up, so the Minute that I tipped back in my Recliner, I went to sleep, After nearly an Hour and Forty Minutes I stumbled off to spend an even longer than expected time sleeping in Bed. Not sure if being tired from the lack of sleep on Monday night had anything to do with it but with the updated prescribed Medication, it is possible.

We both got out of bed at nearly the same time but because of the time, we settled for a breakfast snack. It also meant that it was too late to start the chore I had Planned. Being that this was our Canadian Holiday, lots of people would have the day off work and Planning to do the same thing that I was going to do. Even though I had barely turned on my Computer before sitting at the table, Kathy was already asking me what the Temperature was outside. It may not have been the accurate way of knowing, but you could feel the Heat radiating through the double pane Balcony Door.

By the time we had finished our Coffees and did a little reading, Kathy was already starting to feel hungry, so I came up with Toasted Tomato and Cheese Sandwiches, with Baby Dill Pickle garnishing.

Our daughter Karen called to see how we were handling the Heat. Since The Weather Network showed our outside temperature to be 97 F (36 C) feeling like 117 F (47 C), our Plan was for an inside day. She was happy to hear that and will talk to us on the weekend. Even the Global Radar, showed temperatures above the Century Mark all over the world, except in Goldendale, Washington, where they have remained comfortable, compared to the rest of us.

As mentioned earlier, this is our Canadian Holiday, which meant that there would be no “Local News” to watch at 6:00. Instead at 6:30 we were sitting down to have Honey Garlic Spare Ribs, with Sauteed Asparagus Spears, Potato Slices along with Carbonated Juice for supper. We also had Chocolate Pudding Cups for dessert.

We had both seen the original, but tonight was the first time either of us had seen “Top Gun Maverickwith Tom Cruise. It seemed tthe engineer kept the volume very low until the Commercials came on, then the sound nearly deafened us.

Tomorrow, we’ll try to pick up where we left off today.

Hoping all our Canadian family and friends enjoyed celebrating the day.
