After multiple nights of unexplainable dreams, Kathy did not wake up once last night, which meant I spent more time in Bed while sleeping with both eyes closed. I did open them a couple of times to be certain that Kathy was still next to me and even held hands Twice. I felt refreshed when I started my day just after 8:00, but Kathy who stayed in Bed until 8:30 said she still felt tired. (I had made certain that she was wearing her CPAP Mask, which should have made her feel as refreshed as I did.)
My phone rang but before I could answer, they hung up. If they don’t display who they are, I will not call them back.
Not wanting to overdo breakfast we had Yogurt Cups and Snack Bars, before taking our Coffees to our Computers. It was then that I found the first Comment about what I had not thought of. We depend on our Doctors to help us out and keep us safe, but what if the medications that her Cardiologist, her Rheumatologist and her Neurologist are causing this latest problem. There is something that I will be looking into and should be able to find out from our Pharmacist.
With
the clear blue sky shining through our Balcony
Door
and Bedroom
Window,
I was happy to see that we would reach normal temperatures for the
day. When
we left, neither of us wore a Jacket.
With time running short, we stopped at Popeye’s and selected from their $4.00 Menu. We have our favourites but sometimes you just want a change of taste. Their $4.00 Chicken Sandwiches are are half the size which helps lower the Calorie Count.
As usual, we were a Half Hour early for my appointment at the Pain Care Clinic and as per usual they were over an Hour Late calling me in. At least I walked out with only Six Injections in my Shoulders today and I know the reason why. I was originally referred to them for my Neck Pain. After nearly a Year, a new doctor who specializes in Spinal Nerve Blocks using an Ultrasound, has joined the team. Up to this point, patients have been having to travel as far as Toronto for the procedure. To play catch up, he will be working Seven Days a Week for the first Month to get caught up. He’s young, so like most of us did when we started, he can handle it. My appointment is early Saturday morning.
Kathy had sat with me until I was called in, then sat in the less crowded hallway until I was done. That meant she was not alone. We had talked, then people were near her while she read.
Back in the Car my phone again went off. It was the Canadian Blood Services calling to book another appointment. That is the second time recently, that after my next appointment has been made, it suddenly disappears. Sean rescheduled me for the same time as before.
That distraction caused me to forget, that I was taking Kathy out to see her brother Danny today. No appointment had been made, and Kathy was feeling hungry again, so we’ll try make it for Saturday.
We stopped at Wendy’s, where we enjoyed their Chicken Nuggets for supper.
Back home, I dropped Kathy at the front entrance because her Knees were bothering her.
On the”6 o’clock Local News” they showed that we reached a temperature of 77 F (25 C) but felt like 86 F (30 C). We’ll be cooling down for the weekend.
After watching a couple episodes of “Law and Order”, we called it a night. Kathy going to Bed, while I started writing the Blog.
That was where I found a couple more Comments. We do have groups to help me with Kathy, but I have tried to deal with it on my own for the time being. As for having someone helping out, I will have to do more research.
I think yesterday’s walk might have been part of the reason that we both slept so well last night. Anyone who exercises regularly will remember that when you are just starting out, it is better to do it every other day. With possible afternoon Rain heading our way tomorrow, Kathy already knows that we are going for another walk in the morning. Wish us Luck.

It is extremely important that each of Kathy's doctors know what the other doctors have prescribed for her. This is to make sure that none of the medications conflict with each other. I use to take a list of the prescribed medications to each doctor appointment so they would know exactly what my husband was taking. Take care.
