Cooler, Self-Reliant and Tired.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

No matter how hard I tried to sleep in Bed last night, it did not happen. After a couple of tries that left me staring at the ceiling, the decision to finish the night in my Recliner was made, and it worked. There have been Comments made on past Blogs that there are Beds that can accommodate both our needs. A mix of a Bed and Recliner built into one, but not possible for us at this time. When I woke to start my day, though not perfect, I felt somewhat rested. Since I did not sleep in Bed as much with Kathy, she needed extra time in order to feel rested.

When I first turned The Weather Network on, it showed it was only 30 F (-1 C) but through the course of the day with the help of the Sun, our area would reach 47 F (8.6 C), though the Northerly Wind kept it feeling colder. Looking down on the Ganatchio Trail behind our building everyone was wearing Cold Weather Gear.

We started out with the last two Strudels for breakfast before having our Coffees at the Computers. There was plenty of reading to get caught up on, as well as Local News reports.

We chose to have Hotdog Wraps for our late lunch, as a way of getting Protein, with less Carbohydrates or Calories.

Back at the Computers, there seemed to be more Breaking News on both sides of the International Border.

On the “6 o’clock Local News”, there was an important message from our Canadian Prime Minister “Mark Carney”, how as a Country, we will become more self-reliant on our own manufacturing. Besides that, we should be seeing improved weather conditions coming our way.

We finally had Macaroni and Cheese for a late supper, before we cleaned up the Kitchen and Dishes.

We watched a few episodes of “Forensic Files” before calling it an early evening. Hopefully, we will both be in Bed early tonight.

We’ll be running errands tomorrow.

Be Safe and Enjoy!
