I’m happy to report that after a brief sleep in my Recliner, I only went to Bed only one time, and slept until morning.
Luckily, we did not have to rush to be anywhere this morning, so after our breakfast snack, then Coffees at our Computers, I set about making Salmon Sandwiches for lunch. They were satisfying.
With a little time on our hands, I drove across the city by using Riverside Drive. Looking out at the Detroit River, the fisherman were out in force, unfortunately, there were still the Idiots that insisted on being in the Shipping Channel. Since this area of the Great Lakes system is the farthest point south, Freighters have already been travelling the River for the last Two Weeks.
Before we reached the Howard Avenue Medical Clinic, the skies opened up and the Rain started coming down in earnest. Kathy insisted on staying in the Car, but after yesterday I was not about to let that happen. I recalled an Umbrella being in the cargo area, so I retrieved it, so that she made it to the door dry.
We sat together in the Waiting Room of the Pain Care Clinic, watching people come and go. Kathy was calm and grounded. While waiting to be called in, just moving my head slightly, caused my Neck to crack so hard, I thought that I was about to lose my lunch. The same thing happened Nine times while I waited.
I was finally called in an Hour after my appointment time. That is something that always happens and should not. There were still five others still waiting when I went in. I disgust with Jeffery that besides my Shoulder that it was my Neck I had originally been referred to him for. The delay for that, is the referral to the Hospital for an MRI that was put in nearly a Year ago. Until that happens, nothing can be done for that part of my Neck. Again, I walked out as a Pin Cushion, feeling in less Pain.
As prearranged, Kathy went to the Washroom while I was inside, before returning to the Waiting Room. Only problem was she thought that I had left without her. The time lapse was only Fifteen Minutes, but she started to Panic and asked the Receptionist if I was still there. Luckily, I was just coming out and as soon as she saw me, she immediately calmed down.
The Rain had stopped by the time we were heading for home, but we were in the middle of Rush-Hour Traffic for the second time this week. Since we were moving this slow, we stopped at Arby’s for supper. Their Greek Gyros hit the spot. Kathy was facing the window and saw the traffic had gotten worse. So, since we were running low on certain vegetables at home, we swung over to the Zehr’s grocery store, to remedy the problem.
By the time we got back to the Apartment, we only had time to turn on the television, before the “6 o’clock Local News” started. It looks like we may need an Ark after the next Seven Days.
We later watched “Law and Order Special Victims Unit” before watching “The Pitt”. Nail Biters.
I read that others were having issues with Blogger this week. Tonight was my turn and the problem was actually with Google. Same problems described by others.
