As soon as I felt rested enough from sleeping in my Recliner last night, I headed off to Bed for what I hoped would be a restful sleep. Unfortunately, I had been warned that things could happen out of the blue, and even though it was the middle of the night and there was a Thunderstorm rolling through our area, it did just that.
Kathy
was sound asleep, just like I was at 4:00,
when she suddenly
got
up, then
started turning
all the lights in the Apartment
on. She
then
went in search of Daddy,
saying
it was time to get up.
I thought she meant her brother Danny but she insisted she was
looking for her Dad.
(He died from the result of a car accident in 1962.)
Only
by shutting the lights, insisting that she was dreaming, telling her
the time, did she allow me to guide her back to Bed.
I dozed the rest of the night, sitting up every time she moved. Kathy
finished the night, without her CPAP
Mask.
She has already gone to Bed
this
evening, while
I write the Blog.
I was up shortly after 8:00 this morning and started making Chocolate Chip/Banana Pancakes for Kathy. She heard the Frying Pan make noise as I put it on the stove, then came out to join me. When I mentioned her dream, she had no recollection of it.
I did my normal Computer reading while sipping away at my Coffee. My anchor has been dragging the entire day, but I have resisted taking a nap.
We received a call this morning from a Telemarketer wanting to sell Kathy Life Insurance.
I had Planned on making Salad for lunch but was so tired, I lost track of the time. Instead, we shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Pizza that had added Mushrooms and Mozzarella Cheese for our late lunch.
Another Telemarketer called this afternoon, again wanting to sell Kathy Life Insurance. I doubt they will be calling back.
Watching the “6 o’clock Local News” they reported on the Tornado Warnings issued to our area around 2:00 this morning but reported no damage. Good thing we were both asleep and our phones were in the Livingroom.
Since it drizzled most of the day, we were not worried about staying in, which means we eat less. As a fact tonight’s supper was only a couple of Cookies.
We later watched “Mrs. Doubtfire”. Kathy still laughs at the antics, so it’s a keeper in my book.
Hoping things go better tomorrow.
