Up To A Mile and Talking To Wayne.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Even though I did not sleep the entire night in Bed, that was where I spent most of it.

This morning I had barely gotten to the Livingroom when Kathy came out to join me. We had our breakfast snack before taking our Coffees to the Computers. The first thing I looked at was The Weather Network. Kathy does not like to walk when it’s Hot, Cold or just not at all. With her knees bothering her the best thing to build strength in them is to walk. With the 9:00 temperature being only 46 F (8 C), I was able to convince her that it was to her benefit. I even convinced her to only take her smaller Purse, instead of her overly heavy one.

We barely walked out to the Ganatchio Trail behind our building when she said the breeze was too Cold for her Denim Jacket. Just then couples went jogging by, wearing lightweight exercise clothes. My answer was that if she started moving, she would warm up, so she did.

Instead of turning up Carling Cresent, we kept going further up the Trail. Between the Apartment Buildings and the nearby Condominiums there is a nice grassy Park, with Benches for the weary to sit, and Playground Equipment meant for the younger children. What I have thought strange for the last Seven Years, is this Park that is maintained by the City of Windsor but has No-Name. Someone should complain. What is nice about this Park is a paved walking path from the Ganatchio Trail all the way through to Lori Street and Cedarview, that we have been walking up to lately.

We walked westerly past Carling Cresent and Betty Street until we reached Isack. After a short walk back on the Ganatchio Trail we were soon heading into our Apartment, where we opened the Balcony Door because Kathy said she was too Hot. Today’s walk was over One Mile. I try to make the walk slightly longer every day. I know that we both need it, physically and mentally.

We shared a Veggie, no Meat Omelette for lunch, within the Hour of our walk, which will help our bodies to digest it better.

Being the fans we are we watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 this afternoon. It gave us time to finish chores and Blog reading.

For supper we had Manwich on Bread.

We had just finished when our friend Wayne from Washington State called to see how things were going. You might remember we met Wayne and Sue while spending the Winters at LaPosa South LTVA near Quartzsite, Arizona. I did not recognize his voice right away because his entire Family have come down with some kind of severe Cough that even the Doctors have been unable to diagnose. With mountains on both sides of their home there is still a lot of Whitecaps up there. This time I immediately added his Phone Number to my Contact List.

Slightly later, we finished the evening off watching Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters.

Kathy is already in Bed, while I am writing the Blog. (Sound familiar?)

With Rain in the forecast for tomorrow, I am not sure what we will be up to.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment, unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion, or is Spam.
