Cleaned Up and Stocked.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

It seems that each night I am spending less time in my Recliner and more time in Bed. Though I slept later than expected, I was ready for when Kathy came out to join me this morning. No matter where I sleep, keeping my feet elevated has made a difference of how swollen they are.

With the forecast for another clear day, we decided to run a few errands when we did leave. Kathy is always worried about getting lost, but as long as we’re together, I’ll get her there.

Our first stop was Fantastic Sam’s to get Haircuts, but since it’s been Seven Weeks since the last time we were there, we did not know the city had torn up the road in front of the Plaza. Even though things have changed since I grew up just blocks away, I was able to guide Kathy around the block to our destination.

Our hair had grown to Winter Weight (Shaggy Dogs) so when Julia walked in we breathed a sigh of relief. We thought it was strange when others were saying they didn’t think she was supposed to be in. We found out that she was actually on Vacation this week, but decided to just come in to cut our Hair rather than rescheduling. I gave her a bigger $Tip$ for that and we are already scheduled for our next Two Appointments.

With shopping on our agenda we first stopped a couple blocks away at Pop-eye’s for their Original Chicken Sandwich. Good thing we didn’t get the Spicy Chicken, because these already had a kick.

Traffic was already Bumper to Bumper, so I had Kathy go out the rear entrance, then guided her through the Remington Park and Devonshire Heights areas. We could hardly recognize the Home we once owned in the area. Different strokes for different folks.

We stopped at Guardian Storage to collect Two Pieces of Mail that should have been delivered last week.

Next we stopped at Dollarama, then Zehr’s grocery store to restock our empty Fridge, Freezer and Pantry. At both locations I used the Shopping Carts as Wheeled Walkers.

The traffic was worse here than before, so we drove around the Walmart saving ourselves at least Ten Minutes to get home.

I loaded our Two Wheeled Shopping Cart, but could not stay balanced so Kathy had to pull it. I took the remaining lighter bags and was able to carry them, even while just using my Cane to walk.

The 6 o’clock Local News was already on when we got inside our Apartment. We just turned up the volume while we put the Frozen Foods away.

Looks like the Gulf Coast States are about to get hit by Hurricane Francine. The after track could be heading our way.

Things to do tomorrow before others on Friday.

Krackers

Why did the woman fall in the well at night?

Because she couldn’t see that well.
