Changing Hands and Painful Reminder.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Like Saturday Night, last night was a repeat. I spent time going between the Bed and my Recliner, only to repeat the move an hour later. What finally woke me for the day at 7:00, was someone bundling themselves in all the bedding and my feet were freezing. This is me trying to learn how to sleep in a bed all over again.

I mentioned speaking to our good friend Gerry about how his Hip Replacement went. His Physiotherapist had recommended that he use his Cane next to his good leg as a way of balancing himself out. No matter how many times I tried doing that, I just tripped over it. Even though I had struggled to get around the Apartment with the Cane yesterday, I was determined to make it work. When I started today, I thought this was the perfect time to try again with the other had. It was a Miracle, I was suddenly walking on an even keel and the pressure in my Hip disappeared.

Other than making Shopping List for groceries we were not very active, but when Kathy said there were no Napkins here, I did something Stupid. Using the Kitchen Counter I lowered myself to my Knee. The Pain was worse than it had been before the surgery. It took a couple minutes before I was able to pull myself up, while Kathy was reminding me not to do that again. Until I’m walking like before, I won’t repeat that Mistake.

Looks like we are warming up to seasonal for a few days.
