Thanks and Her Favourite.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Kathy would like to thank our readers who sent Birthday Wishes.

Our sleep pattern last night was perfect, with me only waking twice to roll over. (Every move I make, causes Hip/Leg Pain, that instantly wakes me.)

Even though today was Kathy’s Birthday, I’d barely got the Balcony Blind open when she joined me. We enjoyed some Hot Cross Buns that we got from a Local Bakery, for breakfast. Those are normally only available during Lent and we missed them this year.

It felt good seeing the Sun shining and listening to the Birds singing this morning. As we were about to sit at our Computers, Kathy found my Birthday Card to her along with a Dark Chocolate Candy Bar (Her Favourite), that just seemed to have magically arrived overnight.

We managed to get caught up on our blog reading first thing before reading the News. Kathy also received more greetings and calls from the rest of the family.

When I started looking what to make for lunch Kathy suggested soup, so I was able to serve Italian Wedding Soup (Her Favourite) along with a small bowl of Fresh Pineapple for dessert. Kathy kept telling me how much she enjoyed her Girls Day Out with Karen and Melissa yesterday. They used their day off to help her celebrate a day early.

Wanting something special for supper, I Sauteed Potato Slices, Brussels Sprouts and Bacon for our meal. Our beverage was Carbonated Juice (Fake Wine) and topped off by a slice of Tuxedo Cake (Also Her Favourite).

As we were watching the 6 o’clock Local News, Clouds started filling the sky. The Weather Guesser said we were minutes away from seeing Rain and that was all we had, was minutes before it started.

Kathy didn’t like the fact that I insisted on doing the dishes by myself. Part of her Birthday Treatment, that was My Favourite thing to do. (My Hip/Leg did object later.)

With more overnight Rain in the forecast, we’ll keep our fingers crossed that it ends before we have to go out in the morning.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment, unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion, or is Spam.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Did you hear about the geologist?

He took his wife for granite, so she left him.
