Rain, Dyna-Care, Healthy Fast Food and More Flurries.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

We did it again, we Planned on getting an early start to our day, but because I tossed and turned most of the night, we slept in.

It was past 8:30 before we headed out into a Wet and Windy day. One of the things Kathy needs since her new Rheumatologist changed her Medications is to have her Blood Tested every Month. There are some smaller Labs in town, but it takes weeks for the results, so we go to Dyna-Care where the Doctor will have the results by Tomorrow.

When we arrived at 9:00, the line up was to the door with all Thirty Waiting Room Chairs filled. We were told Kathy did not need to fast and it would be at least Two Hours before she’d be called, so we went to McDonald’s where we each enjoyed a Bacon/Egger and Coffee to fill that gnawing sensation. When Kathy has to Fast, I do so as well, so that she is not feeling deprived.

Back at Dyna-Care we watched as they finally displayed everyone’s Wait Time on the monitor. Kathy was at 113 Minutes for nearly a Half Hour. It was like a game as we watched others leave before Kathy was finally called in. We finally left at 12:30 and it was still Raining.

We stopped at Pita-Pit to enjoy a health version of fast food. There are Three Locations in Windsor and they all have all their Pitas for $7.00, which was a Ten Dollar Savings for the both of us, on different days of the week. We finally got our Pitas by 1:10 and enjoy watching the constantly changing line as we ate our meal.

Since the North-East Winds were gusting to near Thirty MPH, I dropped Kathy at the front entrance to our building before parking the Car. I nearly froze just walking to the rear entrance.

Due to the restless night we had, Kathy needed a Snap to tide her over until supper.

Watching the 6 o’clock Local News, showed the Local Mine indefinitely closing. They supply the Rock Salt that is used on Roads during the Winters. Due to the Warmer Winters, there is less demand for the product. In the next news report, the Local Weather Guesser is telling us to expect Flurries through to the weekend before the temperatures start to rise again.

We’ve got more to deal with tomorrow.
