We were quite amazed how well we slept last night considering it was all of 48 F (9 C) when I finally looked at the Computer this morning. Another thing I believe helped me was that I had adjusted the straps on the Headgear of my CPAP Mask making it more “Leak Proof”. With our Bedroom Window wide open the entire night we were also exposed to a lot of Oxygen enriched air which was like giving us Sleeping Pills that helped us to sleep later.

Once we finished breakfast we busied ourselves finding out what is not only happening with the Bloggers we follow but the rest of the world. It is surprising to see Five Named Storms in the Atlantic heading towards the US with Hurricane Sally presently pounding the Gulf Coast.

When it was time for lunch Kathy wanted something simple so while I made Chicken Noodle Soup and our Very Berry Tea she was busy making an Icing Topping to put on the French Pastries we picked up at Walmart the other day to soften them up. We watched the delivery person putting them on the shelf but as Kathy said they were like chewing “Shoe Leather”. The Soup was satisfying but the Pastry was still tough.

For being Retired and not having anything to do we surely are busy on our Computers researching and making data entries most of the day. The Canada/ US International Border closure has been again extended to October 25th of this year as way of keeping the Coronavirus Cases down in Canada.

We watched another episode of Law & Order before cooking up a Store Bought Thin Crust Pizza for supper. Just turn the Oven on to 425 F (217 C), remove the Pizza from the Freezer, remove the wrapping and place on a Pizza Pan, set Timer for Fifteen Minutes and put in the Oven. When the Timer went off I shut the Timer then the Oven before bring the Pizza to the Cutting Board then serving it. Kathy had a hard time eating her Pizza because it was still piping hot.

After watching the 6 o’clock Local News we cleaned up the Dishes before watching an ABC Town Hall Special where actual Voters not Reporters had the chance to ask President Trump crucial questions that were important to them. I hope that many of you also watched this.

I’ve got things to do tomorrow but I know better then to Plan on it. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  1. Very jealous of your temperatures and all the sleep you all got.

If the border crossing with Canada has been extended, then I am sure the Mexico/USA border crossing is going to mimic that as I live in a Texas border town.

I did not watch the ABC Town Hall Special but got to see both CNN and MSNBC featured highlights. All I have to say is that I am glad it was the voters who got to ask the hard questions and not the media whom this president dismisses as fake.

It was just as I expected this administration failed miserably in their reply and in some instances, did not even reply at all, yet they went on and on in some ridiculous rant.

  2. Meant to say..."The border closures"...not border crossings. Sorry about that!

  3. Kathy I've never tried eating shoe leather. Is it good? Or does it require a little seasoning?

  4. I just heard the border closing is going to extend to the end of November.
Most of my paternal family is in the US. Many of them are in the west. I'm hearing awful stories from them about the smoke. We are so blessed to have such clean fresh air.

  5. Hi you two, microwave a store pastry, or any for 10 seconds or so to freshen them back up. Also wondering if y'all will ever go back in your FW, do you miss it.
