When you work through the week there are some chores that you can only be done on the weekends. Even though you can also sleep later then during the week you allow your body to wake you near the time you would start work. This gives you extra rest without throwing your natural sleep time too far off while you accomplish those chores.

After bringing things into the living area last night I managed to be at the Park Laundry Room before 7:30 this morning. I wasn’t the first one there either because they also wanted to get things done before the heat of the day set in. I waited until everything was washed and into the Dryers before heading back Home.

Kathy was already at the Computer enjoying her cup of Tea. Since I hadn’t eaten she suggested having Toast as it was easy to make and wouldn’t weigh me down. We had a chance to talk for bit before I headed back. Since I washed our Bed Sheets I wanted to make certain they hadn’t balled everything up in the Dryer which would leave lots of wet clothes.

I was Home with everything folded by 10:45. Kathy had made up the bed so it was easier to sort the piles of clothes to put away. I took the time to sit down and read the Blogs we follow before having lunch.

I’ve mentioned to Kathy that she feeds us too much which is something she had to do when the Boys were growing up. We are instead growing out so she kept it simple by making Chicken Noodle Soup along with a Cookies for dessert.

Today I had to do our Pill Doucettes but first I needed to count what was in some of the Vials. Some were starting to feel very light which did not correspond with my counts. Somehow the last couple of times I did this I did something wrong with my entries so my numbers were off. Today I only managed to do Thirteen Days worth of pills rather then the normal Forty-Five because I didn’t have enough medications. I’ll have the Pills and Vitamins that are needed by the time I do this again and I’ll also have my List Up To Date.

Since the Clouds were filling the Sky and we could hear distant Thunder we decided to watch the movie “Back Country” starring Jeff Roop and Missy Peregrym. If you remember what the movie “Jaws” did for people swimming in the ocean that’s what this movie will do to those that like to Hike and Tent Camp in the “Back Country”. This was filmed just outside of North Bay, Ontario not far from where we used to Tent Camp. It was almost non-stop action so we gave it a Nine out of Ten. Kathy said we are no longer Tent Camping.

We lost Electrical Power twice while watching the movie but didn’t loose the Audio. In total we only missed a couple of minutes of Video.

Since the Clouds were again filling the sky we ate after 6:00. Kathy didn’t want me going outside to grill supper so she made Macaroni and Cheese along with Yogurt Cups for dessert.

After supper was finished I went On-Line to do some research. Whenever I do something I take Pride in my work and if something is not going perfectly I try to find out why and fix it. At Work this past week when I asked the Supervisor for Tungsten or Thoriated Electrodes for the TIG Torch he told me something that I presumed was a pile of Cow Patties. When I looked it up it stated that those Two Electrodes were fine on the Older TIG Welding Machines that I used to use for over Twenty-Five Years. What I didn’t realize was the Newer TIG Welding Machine that I used all week is set up differently. Like I said I take Pride in my work and will not rest until I master these new pieces of Technology.

Since tomorrow is the actual Civic Holiday we’ll find something fun to do. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.

  1. Nice to hear that power outages happen to other people as well. Yesterday we had two of them even though yours sound more like power surges.

I guess I will not watch that movie because tent camping is the only way I can afford to camp.

    Enjoy your holiday.

  2. Its easy to get off count on the pills.
I think the Pharmacy at times will short a person on their pills?

  4. We have camped numerous places around N.Bay too. Brent, Kiosk (both in Algonquin Park), Champlain in Mattawa. Temiskeming region including Martin River. I believe the movie was shot around Temiskeming. The TV show CARDINAL on CTV did a whole season at a cottage resort where we stayed three summers ago! It's fun to look for landmarks.
