We both seemed to have issues sleeping soundly last night for what reason we have no idea. I was out the door just before 6:00 and arrived at the Plant by 6:15. Kathy tried staying in bed because she needs more sleep than I do but she was up by 7:00.
Thirty-Four MPH Wind Gusts.
Kathy spent the day organizing her Receipts while the Owner had me modifying a couple of Jobs. Feedback came in from the Customer that ordered the Prototype. He said just make it Plain Jane and leave out the Glitz.
It felt wonderful when I finally got Home after work. While waiting for the Water Heater to do its thing Kathy made a Garden Salad along with some Macaroni and Cheese for supper.

It is amazing how a Shower can put life back into your being.
Even though we weren’t visiting this week we were on our way to Amherstburg to run errands. Our first stop was Pharma Choice where we had to pick up our Prescriptions. Kathy had a few questions and described how she was feeling. As soon as Steve the Pharmacist check what Medications she is on he suggest having our Doctor check the Beta Blockers that she is on.
We stopped at Dollarama mostly just to walk but I needed a pair of strong Cheater Reading Glasses. Some of the measurements on the Prints at Work are so small they are impossible to read. We were also surprise to see that they are already getting ready for Halloween.
Our next stop was Shoppers Drug Mart where every Thursday is Seniors Discount Days. Since we need Vitamins for when I do up the Pill Doucettes we automatically saved 20% and we accumulated Optimum Points that we’ll be able to use later on.
Right next door we went to the No-Frills where we got everything on our Shopping List and they also give us Optimum Points. Kathy was going to buy some Ice Cream but since there is no room in our freezer I suggested going to McDonald’s for one of their $1.00 Cones.
When we arrived the parking lot was filled with cars for the Drive-Thru so we went inside. Our Ice Creams were served in a Cup with the Cone on top because so many people were getting Ice Cream that it could not freeze properly.
While enjoying our treat I told Kathy that with the High Humidex my Coveralls had been soaking wet by 8:00 this morning. She suggested going to Mark’s to get another pair. They had all kinds in my size but they all had Zippers. Most people would say that’s fine but I have seen Welding Splatter make Zippers unusable. We’ll keep looking for Coveralls with Buttons.
Back Home we worked together putting all our purchases away. Even though this has been a short work week we are both looking forward to the Weekend. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  1. Our Dollar Tree in town is also full of Halloween stuff.

A dollar is a pretty good price for an ice cream cone. Is that a Canadian dollar?

  4. Do you have a TSC store in your area? They usually have a bigger selection of coveralls. Can't promise buttons, but you never know. We have another chain store in our area called Work Wear. My partner has issues getting coveralls to fit him properly so we feel your pain.
