Looking at the clock at 5:30 I simply told myself it was a day off and go back to sleep. It worked because I woke just before 8:00. I fell into my old routine of getting things ready for breakfast before I turned on my Computer. During the week shortly after I leave for Work Kathy has been waking up due to my absence so this morning allowed her catch up on some missed sleep as well.
We made it a Two Cup morning while getting caught up on reading Blogs, News, E-Mails and Weather Reports. We also had some Our Time talking about things that have happen this past week along with things that are to come.
After getting the inside chores completed we settled down to having a balanced lunch. Split Pea Soup for lunch and Chocolate Fudge Cake for our dessert.
Feeling a little cramped up I walked over to the Park Exercise Room. Once I opened the Windows there was a comfortable breeze that helped to keep me comfortable. I was also able to use the Scale while there. I weighed myself Three Times and seemed to have lost Ten Pounds just by going back to Work.
Shortly after I returned Home we headed out. Kathy was starting to get Cabin Fever and needed to walk. I’m still looking for additional Coveralls so we headed to Tractor Supply like someone commented the other day. The only outlet in the area is in Essex and they had plenty of Coveralls but they all had Zippers and it only takes a single spark from a welder to make it useless. Another thing is if your Coveralls catch on Fire it’s much easier to pull off Button Up Coveralls then those with Zippers. Looks like I’ll have to shop On-Line.
Heading to Amherstburg we even stopped at their Home Hardware looking for Coveralls. They didn’t carry anything in any clothing line.
Next we went to Walmart. It’s been close to a Month since we have been to any in the area. After searching for what Kathy needed we managed to find a few more Movies in their $5.00 Sale Bin. They may not be recent releases but since we don’t watch Television they will do just fine.
We were about to leave town when we spotted a Variety Store advertising our Canadian Lotteries. We don’t play them that often but for a small investment it could pay out.
Back Home we grilled a Store Bought Thin Crust Pizza with Chicken, Mushrooms and Spinach. I had the Grill going by the time Kathy took it out of the Freezer and had it on the solid Pizza Pan. Twenty Five Minutes later it was cooked crispy just the way we like it.
I check under the Pizza while it's on the Grill.
This is lightly toasted the way we like it.
There wasn’t enough Laundry to do tonight but I needed to clean my Coveralls so I brought them to the Park Laundry Room. As soon as they were going in the Washer I headed Home to cut the Grass. With that all cleaned up I headed back to check how cleaned the Coveralls came out. Luckily I had brought another Laundry Pod because they were far from clean. This time while waiting I headed Home to do more Blog reading. That did the trick because when I pulled them out of the Washers the second time they were much cleaner.
Back Home I called my Aunt Anna so that we could go visit her. We haven’t seen her since her Birthday at the beginning of June and she sounded lonely. I didn’t tell her over the Phone that I was working again. Looking forward to our visit tomorrow and I want to show Kathy some places that she needs to go. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  1. Do you ever wonder how you got everything done when you were working full time?
