Waking just after 6:00 this morning I thought that by turning over I might get a bit more sleep but it didn’t happen. By 6:23 I was once again doing research on the Computer. I had heard of a few more Companies that might just have what we needed. Since Kathy and I had talked about this last night as soon as my cereal was finished I was on my way headed for LaSalle.

The first place that I went to the young woman looked like she was out of a Fashion Magazine and looked put out by my inquiry. The next place in Windsor’s west end must have recently expanded and that Receptionist was in the middle of organizing File Cabinets in an almost empty office. The third place had me filling in an application of sorts so that when they finally have some they would call me.

I took the Expressway over to Central Avenue and found the business that was closed when Kathy and I were there yesterday to be open. I was told they were there from 7:00 until 1:00 Monday to Thursday. (How do they make any Money?) This was also the business that hadn’t called me back. When I told him what I needed he quoted me an unrealistic price and said that he would call me when it was available.

I wasn’t giving up. Back on the Expressway to Twin Oaks Drive another Company had me fill in a form with a description for what I wanted and if they have one available they would call me.

Feeling a little discouraged I went over my list calling places that I’d already gone only to get more negative replies.
Driving in the direction of Home I tried other places along the way that I was correct in assuming they couldn’t help me but took my request anyways.

There was a company that I had driven by many times in the past month and Twice today. On the Third time going by I stopped in just to check it out. The receptionist didn’t think they had any so I was heading back to the Truck when the Owner called me back. Just this morning his manager had suggested what I was looking for and since I had just inquired would I look at what they were thinking of. I was there almost Two Hours giving my opinion and making suggestions. What I want will be there on Thursday.

When I got Home just after 1:00 Kathy was just thinking of having lunch. She knows how determined I can be and that was why I was late. When I told her the News she was as happy as I was.
Since neither of us were really hungry we simply had Tomato Soup for lunch and a Yogurt Cup for dessert.

I spent nearly Half Hour cleaning up my E-Mail from all the Ads that had been sent to me while searching for what I needed. Because I made the first contact these are not Spam but I made certain to Unsubscribe them so that I won’t have to put up with more unwanted Ads.
It’s been a while since I’ve written to our good friends Wayne and Sue from Washington state. We have spent the last Three Winters as neighbours and enjoyed Christmas Dinner with them the last Two. There keeping busy and like us can’t wait to get back to Quartzsite.
When the Clouds started filling the sky around 5:00 I went out to grill a couple of All Natural All Beef Hotdogs while Kathy microwaved the last Two Ears of Corn as a side. She also served us each a piece of Honey Date Squares for dessert. Unlike the regular Date Squares these were a little trickier to get out of the pan because the Honey makes it stick.
Just before the Rain started.
We had just finished eating when the sounds of Distant Thunder could be heard. I just managed to cover over the Weber up and get inside when the first drops started hitting our Windows. It Rained for nearly an Hour adding another Quarter Inch in our Gauge.

At least I can sleep later in the morning but we have a List of things to do. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!
