In order to catch up on our lost sleep we were both in bed by 11:00 last night and neither of us woke before this morning. I was out of bed by 7:23 and Kathy joined me at 7:54. Since her CPAP pressure was increased she’s been waking feeling much more refreshed.

After finishing breakfast we took our Coffee/Tea over to the Computers where the first thing I looked at was The Weather Network and how high the Humidex was going to reach today. That was when I decided to wait for that Second Cup and take care of an Outside Chore.

The week it took me to shine up our Trailer I had to put mowing our grass to the back burner. By 9:30 this morning it already felt like it was in the low Nineties so there was no time spent lazing about. I had to add another Spool of Trimmer Line in the Weed Wacker before getting started. I didn’t think that was too bad since that one lasted Three Years. I had completely mowed, trimmed and cleaned the grass along with our patio and was inside by 10:00.

Kathy must have thought that it was later then it was when I walked in because she was already getting things prepped for lunch. She was a little flustered that she hadn’t looked at the clock.
Good thing I mowed the grass this morning.
We did more reading making certain we had read everyone’s Blogs, our E-mail and the News Alerts like Snow Expected in Alberta. I didn’t make that up. We then had to get serious about planning our time around Jayco’s Scheduled Repair to our Home for the second time. We looked on the 11 Year Calendar that I printed while we were still in the apartment and were finally able to Confirm the Booking with Brittanie our Customer Representative.
Even though it was Hot outside we had Chicken Noodle Soup for lunch along with Water Melon for dessert.

We were both busy doing research after lunch. Kathy was also doing Data Entries into our Expenditure Spreadsheet as well as double checking our accounts. She does that not only to know what we spend but to be certain that someone else isn’t spending it for us.
With the outside Humidex at 106 F (41 C) I was still looking for what we need before we leave this Fall. I managed to find a few local companies that I was able to inquire about it on their sites. Within minutes they were contacting me and I have an appointment to meet their Representative in Tecumseh in the morning. (That’s our old neighbourhood.) If they don’t have what I need they’ll be able to find it for me.
I had barely gotten off the phone when the sound of distant Thunder could be heard approaching. If you remember Kathy hates those storms because of Lightning striking her Mother’s Car when she was a child. Before we could check the Radar the Rain was coming down quite well but it only lasted for about Ten Minutes. We only had a Quarter Inch of Rain.
For supper I grilled a Thin Crust Store Bought Hawaiian Pizza and Kathy cleaned up the last of the Bing Cherries for our dessert.
With tomorrow’s forecasted Humidex of 118 F (48 C) we’ll try not to spend too much time outside even though we both have separate appointments. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Ask A Silly Question:

Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?

  1. I'll definitely go with the rain if it will lower the temps a little!!

  2. Wow that Humidex!! I'd stay inside with a/c on or take a drive in a/c car! Drink lots of water you two!

  4. Oh, that humidity. Yikes. Maybe I'll stick with our 10 C high temps we've 'enjoyed' in Central Alberta the last two days.
    Stay safe!
