Good Day Selling STUFF and Making More Progress.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

For some reason or another we both had a restless sleep last night but yet we were both up having breakfast by 8:00 this morning. It didn’t appear that we had anything planned for today so once I’d finished my morning reading I refocused myself on transferring all my files and pictures from the old laptop to the new one. Just before lunch Kathy busied herself uploading the Air Conditioner and our Upright Freezer onto Kijiji. Uploading my documents only took about two minutes but when it came to transferring the 195 Gigabytes of pictures there was lots of time to do a number of other things around the apartment.
One such thing was going downstairs to check if we had any mail. Since we have made certain that any company that still sends us mail was given our new mailing address it is quite upsetting when we continue to find mail coming from a firm that has been told twice already. I also ran into Dan the building manager asking how the showings had gone. He informed me the last person that saw it really liked it but wanted his wife to see it before committing to it. He was hoping to bring her after lunch so after asking Kathy we agreed for them to return while we’d be home.
While they were looking at the apartment I mentioned that we were selling the Air Conditioner and Upright Freezer. After looking and agreeing to take the apartment they said they also wanted our appliances and our bathroom shelf to increase their shelf space. They probably had not reached the elevator when Kathy was busy removing our ads from Kijiji and I received a phone call asking about both the Air Conditioner and Freezer. The ads had been posted less than an hour our STUFF was already sold. Minutes later Kathy found two more inquiries in her E-mail.
Once that was over I taped up two more boxes for Kathy to fill with things from the kitchen. I was also in the process of uploading all my pictures and files to my new laptop and continuing to undo the seams that had been accidentally sewn on the wrong side of the darkening curtains Kathy is making for our trailer. Kathy’s hands have too much arthritis so it was easier for me to do.
After Kathy had finished packing and labeling the boxes she didn’t feel like cooking tonight so we ordered Chinese Food from next door. It was ready in less than ten minutes, cost less than ten dollars and filled us both with tasty food. I didn’t finish undoing the seams on the curtains until nearly 9:00 tonight.
It turned out to be a good day getting things done and STUFF sold.  Things that all needed to be done before we start our Fulltiming Adventure. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
