Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.
Again this morning we were both up early enough to have
finished our breakfast and sitting at our computers by 8:00. There must be some
truth to the sun being a stimulant because it seems the earlier the sun seems
to rise so do we. It only took Kathy her normal time to do her reading this
morning because she had time to keep up to date yesterday. By the time I’d
resolved the issue of the missing laptop yesterday it meant I had a lot of
catching up to do today. We have our sidebar set to post the latest blogs
posted at the top therefore I read all of the blogs that were posted since the
last time I looked.
Once Kathy had finished her reading she headed to the kitchen
to clean out the refrigerator by creating new dishes and recreating some
others. It was at this stage that I started setting up my new laptop. It was a
repeat of what I’d just recently did on Kathy’s, fill this in, create that,
then the program tells you the pass word you just created is incorrect so you’ll
have to go online to correct it but all these questions have to be filled in
before you can get the laptop connected to the internet. A real love/hate feeling
sets in. This chore even continued after we had lunch. Wisely I chose to copy
only a few files from my old laptop to the new one before adding the Microsoft
Office. Since there were no established folders it was like playing hide and
seek trying to find those files. Possibly I’ll get enough transferred tomorrow that
I’ll be able to create my own shortcuts on the Desktop.
When I checked the mail this morning there was a notice of
two tenant showings scheduled for tomorrow around dinner time. Being this is Wednesday
we went for our weekly visit with our son Kevin and daughter-in-law Melissa. As
usual we have a good visit talking about an assortment of things going on in
all our lives. By the time we got back to the apartment this evening there was
another notice in our door informing us that there had been another tenant showing
added for tomorrow. We’re hoping it rents soon so it will stop interfering with
things we need to do.
It is only right since Marsha helped to fix our problem with
centering our Header Picture that I
try to answer a few questions for her. Our TRACFONE
purchased in the US has no contract and we have used it everywhere we have
travelled in the US since 2011. Our friend Jerry introduced the brand to us
because being Canadians it was easier not having a contract unlike most of the
carriers. With TRACFONE they have
smart phones and they have the simple phones to use simply for talking on that
you purchase outright. The advice we were given was to buy a Double Minutes card along with one of
the Minutes card. After that any amount of minutes you add will automatically Double
the talk time of the Minutes card. They have cards that are good for thirty,
ninety, and 365 day periods with different amounts of talk time. If you are
about to run out of days just purchase another card to add to the phone and any
unused minutes will Carry-Over onto
the new card. As long as you don’t let Service
Days expire you retain your phone number and never lose your minutes. There
are programs for Smartphone, upgrade your phone or even BYOP (bring your own phone to TRACFONE)
plans as well as auto refill plans. At this point I would probably set a phone
up for a year to start and then you will know how well it works. Being that it
is perfect for emergency or everyday use maybe your dad might give up his
landline.
Tomorrow we’ll still try to get some things accomplished towards
our Fulltiming Adventure even though there are three scheduled tenant showings.
Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be
Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.

I updated my old tracfone this past winter for a wonderful LG android smart phone for less than $12.00 , it has data, can take pictures and videos, has a GPS, and check email, and my 1800 minutes of air time was transferred at the Walmart in Yuma.
ReplyDeletePlus it is much easier to use.
Wow...thanks so much for all the info. I think that is the way we will go. It will save us a ton of money. Love the sunrise photo.
