Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.
By the time we posted our blog last night I was just too
tired to try another possible fix to centering our header picture in our blog.
I hardly remember my head hitting the pillow before falling asleep. Unfortunately
the thought of what I might have to do to make the correction was already imbedded
in my mind and you can just guess what kept waking me most of the night. Kathy
sensed my restlessness so we were both up and about by 7:00 this morning.
As soon as breakfast was over we started our morning reading
and chores. It wasn’t until all that was done and we were about to leave that I
checked out the site that was recommended to me. Within five minutes I simply
copied and pasted the script into the Add
CSS box and the problem was resolved. Later this afternoon I really had a
better chance to examine this site that was forwarded to me by Paul and Marsha Weaver and I have since added it to the Footer at the bottom of our
blog entitled Special RV Related Links.
Again a big Thank You to Paul and Marsha.
We were again at the New Belle River Arena this morning to watch our grandson Tyler
play hockey. He was doing much better today health wise but his team was
extremely shorthanded today. Tyler would take credit for two goals and an
assist but by the end of the game all the players were worn out. Of course
facing the top team in their league didn’t help so they were defeated by a
score of 6 to 4. You have to give them credit because they all played their
hearts out.
Since we had been notified about another apartment showing
this afternoon we stopped at Wendy’s where we used a coupon to enjoy a tasty
lunch at a reduced price.
Most long time readers remember our dear friend Bill who had
a fall last summer and ended up having surgery to remove blood from his brain. After
his surgery he was in a state similar to having had a stroke. Since we haven’t
seen him since before the New Year we drove over to visit with him. He is now
in a Recovery/Retirement Home where he is actually making great progress. He is now able
to stand and walk on his own but the rules are he must use a walker until the doctor
says he doesn’t have to. Not bad for starting over again at 84 years young. We had a great visit with
Bill giving us a tour of the facility. We were home on time to have supper and
as we were watching the 6 o’clock News Vera, Bill’s wife called apologizing for
not being there to visit with us. Kathy spent nearly an hour getting caught up
with Vera.
We have more packing that we’ll do tomorrow which will help us
get that much closer to our Fulltiming
Adventure. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave
a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.

So glad to hear the Bill is doing so well. He looks great.
ReplyDeleteI think Tyler may have a future in hockey.
You are very welcome. Another thing to mark off your list.
Nice to get the blog fixed up and that Bill is doing better.
