Shared Thank You And A Vent.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Waking up this morning with the sun shining brightly around the edges of the drapes was a pleasant surprise. However when opening the curtains not only did we see the elusive sun shining but it was once again reflecting its rays off a fresh blanket of snow. As we ate breakfast the sun eventually disappeared behind a cloud covering that was responsible for the added falling flakes that would haunt us throughout the day.
Tyler (Black 97) about to make his backhand goal.
After breakfast our morning chores and a quick stent at the computers we were once again on our way to the New Belle River Arena to watch our grandson Tyler play hockey. The game started at 11:15 and it would take until nearly the end of the first period when Tyler scored the first goal of the game. At that point he headed back to the bench and emptied his well digested breakfast into the trashcan. Tyler has been fighting a cold all week and that was making it difficult for him to breathe. He stuck it out helping in an assist while his team played very shorthanded to win the game 2 to 1.

Since there was supposed to be a showing of our apartment early this afternoon Kathy and I stopped at Dairy Queen after the game and each had a Chicken Wrap Value meal for lunch. Before returning to the apartment we also stopped at the Zehr’s grocery store to pick up a few grocery items to tide us over.

In another comment on yesterday’s blog Hazel complimented us as being an inspiration to her about our going Fulltime. Rightfully we can say Thank You but we must share that compliment with all the other Fulltimers that have gone before us and inspired us to take this leap of faith into becoming Fulltimers this coming spring.

It is common knowledge that RVers are the nicest people around and will bend over backwards to make you feel at home and share advice with you that they sometimes had to learn the hard way. The same thing goes for RV Bloggers. Paul and Marsha Weaver have been trying their darnedest to help us resolve issues that come up on our blog and for that we say Thank You and hopefully someday we’ll be able to return the favor.

Since we are dealing with Blogger issues many of the blogs that we used to be able to comment on since you switched your profiles to Google+ it will no longer allow anyone signed in simply with a Google profile to leave comments. I’ve tried rectifying this issue on my profile to no avail. I have tried to add my technical two cents worth unsuccessfully on many of those blogs I used to comment on. I’m not ignoring you but Google+ is just not letting me leave comments. You might consider changing your blog profile to increase your comment numbers.

Tomorrow is another busy day so we’ll see how that works out. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  1. Hmm . . . don't think I've noticed that issue with comments, but then I don't comment much and I think I might be a google+ member!

  4. I've never had a problem on your blog. I did get people say they can't leave a comment on mine though.
