Non-Stop Chores and Errands.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Even with the windows left slightly open last night it was still too warm to sleep comfortably. When I woke in the middle of the night my mind started to think of more things than I do during the day. So after being awake for a few hours I went to do my morning reading on the computer before going back to bed at 6:00 this morning.

Once we’d had breakfast Kathy started cooking and baking in the kitchen while I started getting things ready to do the laundry. Smelling all the aromas coming from the kitchen made it nearly impossible to leave the apartment but I had to do it. Luckily I was alone in the laundry room because we had other things we wanted to get washed so we can begin packing them away in preparation of going Fulltime in the spring.

Between the loads of washing and drying I was able to add a sidebar to one of our spreadsheets. Before today we only speculated how much money we would be saving by Fulltiming in our trailer. Now with the use of this sidebar it shows us exactly how much it will be.

I’d just returned to the apartment with the folded laundry when the phone rang. Our daughter Karen asked if we could pick Tyler up after his Football practice because he had his hockey equipment with him and Greg his dad is on afternoon shift this month. She had a doctor’s appointment this morning and had to stay late to get caught up on her work. At Tyler's school they have hockey for Physical Education.

We left earlier than needed so we had time to stop at the Post Office where Kathy had to pick up some gifts she’d ordered through Amazon. We also stopped at the Credit Union to do some banking. Still too early we stopped at McDonalds for a cup of coffee to tide us over until supper time.

We were at the school with time to spare and Tyler came out with his hockey equipment right on time but he asked if we could give his friend a ride home. We had to wait a bit longer but we got them both home safely.

It was nearly 6:30 when we sat down to have our supper which was the Pepper Steak that Kathy had cooked earlier today. Then she topped off a piece of Homemade Strawberry/Rhubarb Pie that she also baked today with some Vanilla frozen yogurt. As usual it all tasted fantastic and there’s enough for another meal.

We don’t know what we’ll be doing tomorrow but there is plenty of things to do in preparation to getting ready for our big move to Fulltiming next spring. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Krackers

A guy runs into his house, slams the door and says, "Honey, pack your bags. I won the lottery!"

The wife says, "Wow! That's great! I'm so happy! Should I pack for the beach or the ski slopes?"

He says, "I don't care. Just get the hell out!"
