Getting Things Taken Care Of Before Heading South.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Sleeping until your body is rested enough to wake up fully rested is a wonderful thing. We slept until 7:30 this morning knowing that we had an appointment closer to lunch. After eating breakfast and reading at the computers we did a few other things around the apartment before leaving just before 10:00.

Since we were away for the weekend we waited to top the car off with gasoline. Surprisingly when I pulled up to the pumps at the Pioneer Gas Station this morning the price per liter was below a dollar which is something we haven’t seen in years.

Arriving early for our appointment at Fantastic Sam’s we managed to do some reading before Jenna was ready to cut our hair. It is amazing how much faster it grows during the warmer weather. We both walked out leaving our Shaggy Dog Looks behind us on the floor.

We were home by 11:30 where after checking for the mail we worked together making lunch. After washing the dishes Kathy took a Snap while I packed up the electronic equipment that has to be returned to Bell. Once that was accomplished we even managed more time on the computers before having to leave again.

Luckily the temperature has dropped considerably since yesterday. That means that you don’t feel like you’re melting when you go outside and for Kathy it makes it much easier to breathe.

Our first stop was at the Canadian Post Office where we dropped off the first package being returned to Bell. Our next stop was at Purolator to drop off the remaining two packages being returned to Bell. That’s right packages to the same company and two different couriers.

We made it out to Amherstburg just before our 3:30 dentist appointment. This appointment is our yearly checkup and cleaning before we head south later this year. We both passed with flying colors and won’t be back until next year.

Since we had time before our Wednesday night visit with the kids we stopped at McDonalds where we had chicken nuggets for supper and by using a coupon got it at a reduced price. It wouldn’t make sense to use up more gas head to home for supper just return back to Amherstburg. Still having more time to pass we walked around Walmart for a while longer.

At Kevin and Melissa’s we learned how they spent their Labor Day Weekend. We also learned how Cameron and Matthew are enjoying their first two days being back in school. Kevin and I made plans on getting together at a later date to reorganize the upstairs storage in the garage. By the end of the evening we’d all had a number of laughs with plans for more in the future. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
