After a decent night's sleep, we simply enjoyed a glass of Breakfast Juice with our Medication/Vitamins, then headed out the door by 9:00 this morning. As we were leaving, the Outside Recycle Bins were being emptied. It was also a good thing we had our Jackets on because the breeze was cutting through them.
Having accomplished what, I had set out to do, there was nothing in the Fridge, so we were headed to Wendy's for breakfast. Having a Coupon to keep our cost down made it taste even better. I did comment to the Shift Manager that once we used up all our Coupons, we'd have to find someplace else that we had Coupons for, to eat at. While the order was being put together, she returned from the Office and gave me another sheet, to prolong our ability of gracing the establishment.
A recent Comment suggested looking in the nearby Trash/Recycle Bin near the Mailboxes in case neighbours had discarded their Coupons. It is strange that there are no Fast-Food Coupons being delivered in the apartment building we live in, but they are being delivered to our Mailing Address where nobody resides. In the last apartment building we lived in, lots of people did toss those valuable Coupons to the point that I passed many off to our Kids and their Families.
Once we had finished eating, our first stop was to Dollarama. We stocked up on a number of cost savings items, to the point that the only Cashier had to call for additional help twice as the line behind us had grown. When we do this kind of shopping, we let other customers ahead of us because we know it takes time. Today, there was nobody behind us when we approached the checkout. We were lucky to have worn our Jackets though because like other Stores in the area, they were still running their Air Conditioning.
At the Zehr's grocery store, we spent most of our time in the Produce section then the Dairy aisle before zipping through the remainder of the store. Again, we were lucky to have worn our Jackets, because the store was cold enough, the Produce felt like it was in a Fridge.
After parking the Car and overfilling our Folding Two Wheeled Shopping Cart, we made our way up to our Apartment where we found it very hot. Just opening the Balcony Door, only made it worse, so now we took off our Jackets and turned on our Air Conditioner.
While living Fulltime in our RV, we learned when it comes to saving space in especially in your Fridge/Freezer, is to remove as much packaging as possible. That means more food fits in tighter spaces. On the other hand, you have a sudden wave of Recycle Materials to get rid of.
When I was headed back to the Car, I emptied all our Recycling Materials in the then Empty Outside Recycle Bins. Using the Recycle Bins from our Apartment, helped me to fill our Shopping Cart with a second load of supplies.
It was nearly 1:00 by the time everything was put away and we were finally able to sit down at our Computers.
Around 3:00 we had a Pastry for a snack, but it was after 7:00 when we finally shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Pizza for supper.
We later shut the AC before watching a couple episodes of "Forensic Files" and the "11 o'clock Local News". There were a couple of bad accidents in Windsor over the weekend, that we are glad to have avoided. The temperatures seem to be rising again. It might be something we Canadians call our Indian Summer, before things really get cold.
Busy again tomorrow.
