No
Alarm
was set last night, so it seems to have made some difference in my
sleep. After a brief snooze in my Recliner,
I was able to finish tthe night off in Bed.
It seems that my body is objecting to everything it was forced to do
in
the past by prodding me, when I should
be sleeping.
Not wanting to get into a major production for breakfast, we kept it simple with a Yogurt Cup and a few Chocolate Chip Cookies.
We barely had the chance to check things on the Computers, but I was able to fill in my questionnaire and picture the Q-Pass on my phone.
Minutes later, we were headed for the Canadian Blood Services at the Roundhouse Center on Howard Avenue. Unlike my last visit, the Q-Pass worked like a charm. I think a Finger Smear on the Camera Lens had been the cause. Getting back into the routine means that you start to recognize other regular Plasma Donors. Since I arrived early today, I was processed and finished that much faster. The differences between donating Plasma and Whole Blood are, you can donate once a week compared to Eight Weeks for Whole Blood. The entire process takes approximately Ninety Minutes compared to Thirty Minutes for Whole Blood. I walked out today after making my 155th Donation.
Since
we had another appointment in the area this afternoon, we headed
across the road to the Food
Court
over at the Devonshire
Mall.
The last time we were here we enjoyed a Smoothie
from one vendor and Orange
Chicken
from another so much, we repeated it for lunch today. That meant we
got to have our Lupper
(Lunch and Supper) in an Air
Conditioned
environment and People
Watching.
You wouldn't believe half the stuff people do when they think nobody
is watching. We didn't bring any Leftovers home, but we didn't need
any Supper
either.
After walking around a few stores, Kathy suggested the central Walmart, since we were nearby. Since this year's Road Construction, roads that have existed for over a century have been changed. Before the Construction it would have taken Ten Minutes, but today it took Thirty Minutes. As the old saying goes, "If it's not broke, don't fix it. ". It seems this rule has gone out the window.
At Walmart, Kathy looked for some clothes but didn't find any. I wasn't looking and walked out with Two Pair of Pants.
Though we arrived at Fantastic Sam's early, we had to wait for Julia to arrive. Kathy decided that sitting in a hot car in 81 F (27 C) temperatures was not practical, so we waited inside the Air Conditioned Hairshop. When Julia arrived, it didn't take long to have us looking Human again.
Headed for home we were jammed tight in a Traffic Squeeze when suddenly an Ambulance was trying to get through, but we couldn't move. A quick-thinking Contractor, moved a few Construction Barrels and allowed the Ambulance to get through, driving on the freshly laid Asphalt.
By the time we got home, I could barely keep my eyes open. Before I knew it the Clock was no longer showing the same time as when I had last seen.
We watched the "11 o'clock Local News" before Kathy went to Bed. I've been cleaning the bbbs and eees off the Document that I made for the Blog.

Krackers
I thought about going on an all-almond diet, but that’s just nuts.
