I mentioned the other day that when you first exercise or just return to exercising, you have to be careful not to overdo it. When exercising you are basically trying to build Muscle, but when building Muscle you are also tearing them and must give them time to heal. I had barely got started on Monday, when I already felt worn out.
It would not be until last night that I would realize I had overdone my exercise. I was barely in bed when Intensive Pain in my Arms, Legs and Chest would tell me, I had gone too far with my exercises. Even an Extra Strength Tylenol did not quell the Pain enough for me to properly sleep. Just a reminder, that I am used to doing this and still messed up.
While we had our breakfast it felt like I kept nodding off. Even Kathy felt tired. When I don’t sleep, she doesn’t sleep. While I was reading Blogs, Kathy was checking what was needed in the Fridge and making a List.
It was after 11:30 when we headed out and with multiple stops ahead, so I added another. Our first stop was Harvey’s (Canadian Chain) for lunch. Luckily, using a Coupon shaved Eight Dollars off the cost.
It was after 12:30 when we headed to Guardian Storage to collect our Mail. Mostly just Junk Mail had us heading back to do our shopping. Though we didn’t stop the Gasoline and Diesel Prices have really dropped.
Our stop at Dollarama got nearly everything on that list, only missing my Cough Drops. I got to push the Wheeled Walker that I appreciate.
At Zehr’s grocery store we picked up a few more Vegetables that weren’t on the Shopping List and a case of Verner’s Pop. I’m finding that I am picking up my stride when using the Wheeled Walkers and it’s straightening my poster as well.
To say our Two Wheeled Shopping Cart was overloaded would be an understatement. After getting the Frozen Foods put away, we took a break to catch our breathes.
There’s more warm temperatures heading our way and we’ve got more appointments to deal with as well. The next couple of days could be a blur.

Words of Inspiration
There is no absurdity so palpable but that it may be firmly planted in the human head if you only begin to inculcate it before the age of five, by constantly repeating it with an air of great solemnity.
Arthur Schopenhauer, German Philosopher
