Tightened Restrictions, Good Workout and More Flurries On The Way.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

I was busy reading Blogs past midnight but still managed to be up before 8:00 this morning. I even had the chance to start reading more Blogs before Kathy came out to join me.

Looking outside it looked like a perfect day with no Clouds and only the slightest breeze but with the Tightened Restrictions imposed by the Provincial Government there didn’t appear that many people out. Looking towards the East we have a clear view of Riverside Drive and there were only a few vehicles on the road.

You’ve all been reading how I’ve been applying unsuccessfully for Jobs in my Trade in the Windsor/Essex Area. This morning One of those companies that I have applied for had Six Different Job Ads listed. I took the time to read all the job requirements in each case. For a general labourer they want the applicants to have knowledge that Electricians, Pipe Fitters and Welders with Twenty Years Experience wouldn’t have. The kicker was they were only offering Minimum Wage for all that knowledge. I reported them to the Employment Bureau of Canada.

We had Chicken Noodle Soup for lunch along with some Chocolate Chip Cake that Kathy baked yesterday and a Chocolate Pudding Cup for dessert.

After we cleaned up the Dishes I immediately started to dirty things up. I cleaned then sliced up the Celery Root that we had in our Fridge before boiling it soft. When that was done it was left to rest before finishing the process.

I managed to spend more time exercising this afternoon even adding another routine to the workout.

Kathy took over the breading and cooking of the Celery Root but a couple of Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast as well. Supper was delicious and served along with the last of the Brownie Cake from yesterday for dessert.

When the Golf Tournament that was on ended at 6:02 we were surprised when our 6 o’clock Local News suddenly appeared. I guess I wasn’t the only one who complained to the Canadian Broadcasting Regulators.

Nearly all the Mayors across Ontario have told their Police Departments to not enforce the Provincial Stay At Home Order but if there are large gatherings such as Parties then they can step in.

Today the Windsor/Essex Region only saw 73 New Coronavirus Cases with no additional Deaths.

We also reached a high temperature of 55 F (13 C) this afternoon. We can expect a few nights below the Freezing Mark this week with the possibility of more Flurries as well. A Typical April Springtime in our County.

We watched a “Hallmark Movie” this evening.

  1. That's how it was here when our governor tried to do the lockdown again. Police and Sheriff's said they weren't enforcing. Glad that's what happened up there. I nothing else you always know watching a Hallmark movie will bring a smile to your face.

  2. Seriously no snow should come down it is bad enough to check the temperatures and see it is going to be below freezing when we pull into that area across the river in a couple of days. Good for those Mayors in Ontario trusting people to do what is right. Stay safe.
