Good Sleep, Catching Up and Lower Numbers.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

We were both in bed before midnight last night and we actually slept soundly until morning. It wasn’t the sun that woke us up because the sky was totally filled with clouds.

After I filled out Two more Job Applications I spent the rest of the morning reading Blogs we follow catching up. Like I’ve said before I read all the Blogs that are posted just not always right away. Because I didn’t sleep so well Tuesday Night my attention span to reading wasn’t too focused. That meant today I started making up for that lapse.

Like many others our eating habits through these Lock-Downs has suffered even changing what we were actually eating. Today we modified a Garden Salad by making it an Asian Salad then adding diced up Ham for our lunch. We had Fruit Cups, Rice Krispy Squares and shared Orange Slices. At least part of the meal was Healthy.

We had been thinking of going for a walk but that changed the minute we looked outside. With the Rain that was coming down we should start seeing things start to green up soon.

We looked in on the Derek Chauvin Trial on time to hear from a number of Doctors. They basically destroyed any chance the defence had trying to blame George Floyd’s death on Drugs. The one actually pointed out in a photo from the now public videos how Derek had his feet totally off the ground thus putting his full weigh on George’s Neck and Chest making it impossible for him to breath.

On the 6 o’clock Local News the province of Ontario is hoping to ramp up all the Coronavirus Vaccines. The Two Seniors that we lost yesterday were too scared to leave their homes to be vaccinated so they were very vulnerable. Today the Windsor/Essex Region reported 39 New Cases bringing the Active Cases to 383.

Our temperature only reached 77 F (25 C) today just before it started Raining.

We had Split Pea with Ham Soup for supper with a Yogurt Cup for dessert. A little healthier.

Later this evening we watched “Law and Order SVU” and “Law and Order Organized Crime”.

We’ll be busy tomorrow.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment unless it personally attacks someone for their comment or is Spam.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. Our greenhouse reached 25C yesterday, so to say you 'only reached'..... and we haven't had much in the way of rain either which is highly unusual for these parts. Our cistern is much lower than I would like it to be going in to summer.

  2. How I wish it would rain in these parts. Unfortunately, we are in a drought and the temperatures are in the 100's.
