Comfortable Trailer, Re Organizing The Shed and Fun Visit.

It amazes me that after all the years that I worked 7 Days a Week that getting up early never bothered me, now that I’ve experienced a more relaxed lifestyle getting up at 7:30 for a few days in a row has me totally drained of any energy. It did however feel good waking to a dry environment this morning which also meant we didn’t feel as cold. Kathy joined me by 8:00 so we could get an earlier start to our day.
This morning's Sunrise.
As the days are passing us by the weather is changing to the point of making it uncomfortable because of the extra layers you have to wear to keep warm. It was in the lower Forties when I logged on to The Weather Network this morning. We were luckily going to have a day with no Rain but the high was only going to be 48 F (9 C) because of the gusting Winds.

After doing our indoor chores we again opted for another early lunch of Soup, helping to warm us up but not overly filling. Kathy’s Arthritis really swelled up and caused her to struggle to do even the simplest of tasks so there was no point in her coming outside only to add unnecessary Pain to her hands.
By 9:00 this was what we had for the rest of the day.
When we returned to Ontario last spring we had to totally empty out our Trailer to send it back to the Factory. When we returned to the Park without our Trailer we worked at making improvements to our Site. When we finally brought our Trailer back to the Park our Garden Shed became very disrupted, so today it had to be totally reorganized. I found lots of things that had to be put in the Basement along with things that cannot Freeze that will be returned to our Climate Controlled Storage Unit.
I worked until nearly 4:00 after reorganizing the Garden Shed and packing away most of our Patio Furniture. When I went inside Kathy had me wash up for supper. She recreated open faced Pork Sandwiches and Fried Potatoes and Vegetables from last night’s Leftovers. When she does that you would swear that it is freshly made. Our dessert was Blackberry covered Yogurt.

We had all the Dishes cleaned up and were heading out the door by 4:30. We took the Truck because there was Trash and Yard Waste that had to be taken care of on the way out of the Park.

Since farmers are busy bring in their crops, we took a different route to Amherstburg. The first stop was the Pharma Choice drug store. I needed to get another bottle of Eyedrops for myself and then I ordered all our Medications that we need to bring with us when we head south for the winter.

We arrived at Kevin and Melissa’s around 5:30 for our last weekly visit this fall. They have nearly as many things going on as we do so we’ll meet on different days. They brought out a couple bottles of Wine for us to taste. Kathy could only take a taste before passing it to me because of the Medications that she needs to take. We had an enjoyable visit just like we always do but by 8:00 we had to say our Good Nights and head for Home.
The Moon just peaking over a Cloud that looked like a Mountain.
The Moon was busy moving behind many different Clouds as we made our way but the Clouds are going to disappear overnight and make the Temperatures feel like 23 F (-5 C). The forecast is again calling for a high of only 48 F (9 C) tomorrow but I have to get more things outside ready for when we leave. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  1. The open face sandwich looks so good I don't remember the last time I had one.

Your temps were colder than ours but the winds are tough here to.
