This and That Day.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario.

With the heavy thunderstorm that we had just before bedtime last night we both still managed to get a decent night’s sleep last night which means we are slowly recovering from our early morning on Thursday. By 8:00 this morning we were enjoying our breakfast of coffee and cereal. Of course we were also watching the Weather Channel as we ate and they were telling us it would feel warm but cloudy all day. That sounded acceptable because we still had lots of things we needed to do around the apartment.

Right after breakfast we started reading E-mails and Blogs but it wasn’t long that Kathy had gathered a number of maps and headed to the dining room to spread out on the table. Periodically she would return to the office to check things on Mapquest for the purpose of determining travel times between stops for our travels next winter. After finishing my morning reading I used the time to research data for one of my working Spreadsheets.

Shortly after lunch we took a drive to the trailer to pick up a few things that we had left behind not thinking that we’d be needing them at the apartment.  Before arriving back home we also stopped at the Metro grocery store for additional food stocks to help make it through the Labor Day weekend.
Back at the apartment Kathy went next door to check on our neighbor’s kitten. Since Kelly took care of a couple of our plants while we were away on our trip to Florida last winter we are returning the favor while she is visiting her sister in Calgary for a couple of weeks. Since we have both had pet cats before it is an easy chore though it did make Kathy laugh when the kitten thought the broom she was using to sweep up the loose cat litter was a new toy for her to play with.

For supper tonight Kathy made a nice Taco Salad to go with the hamburgers and peppers that I grilled on our Weber Q. She also made some nice walnut tarts for dessert making the meal completely delicious as always. Tomorrow we are supposed to see the sun again so that should make the day much more interesting. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
