Errands and More Progress.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario.

It was another night that Kathy and I slept fairly well and we’re feeling quite refreshed when we got up around 8:00 this morning. Kathy started an adjusted medication routine this morning so once we sat down to have cereal and coffee for breakfast we started formulating what our plans would be for the day.

That’s when the phone rang and Murphy was on the line. Actually it was the receptionist confirming Kathy’s appointment with the Podiatrist but it was so very difficult to understand her. It sounded like she had a strong foreign accent and this woman speaks very clear English. We had no sooner hung up from her when Murphy called again in the form of a prerecorded message telling me that if I didn’t correspond to an E-mail sent by the phone company (Bell) that we would be facing a hefty service bill.

Now it was my turn to make a phone call. I only spent thirty seconds on hold before being assisted but just as the person at the other end was pulling up my account the line went dead. That didn’t make me very happy and when I tried recalling the line rang in a busy signal. Just as I hung up to retry my call the person that I had been speaking to called me back so we got everything straightened around with that mix up. The fact that I had confirmation numbers to give her helped speed things up.

After lunch we headed out to run a few errands. The first was to find the actual location of Healthy Heals a place run by a former nurse. Once there Kathy went in and spoke with Arlene who told Kathy how she could save money using her service. That’s always good and she runs a very sterile environment which is something many Spas do not have.

Our next stop was at the Devonshire Mall where we found a padded case to put the hub in when we travel. We found it at Bentley’s. We also stopped at Shoppers Drug Mart so Kathy could replace a broken eyebrow pencil sharpener. We then drove to Vehicle Venture to order new bushing kits for the Air-gate that suddenly seemed to have disappeared.

Finally we stopped at Guardian Storage so that I could measure the trailer Pin-box and as well as laying on a rug so I could measure to make Mud-Flap brackets to protect the sewer connections on the road side and the steps on  the curb side. We may be retired but we sure get tired with all this busyness and running around.

Back at the apartment we made plans that includes a couple of appointments for tomorrow. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Krackers

Why was the mushroom invited to all the parties?

Because he was a fungi.
