Great Visiting Day.

Our Location today is London, Ontario.

As I’ve mentioned before both Kathy and I sleep much better in the trailer than we do in the apartment and for that matter when we owned our home we still slept better in the trailer. After waking this morning we just layed in bed talking about our plans for today before finally getting out of bed to have breakfast at 8:00. We enjoyed coffee and bagels before spending a short time on the computers. There were a number of comments about our mishap yesterday and like you all noted nobody was injured and no one else was involved, everything is repairable and we’ll get over it. The biggest problem we had yesterday was the fact we prided ourselves on not having anything like that happen before and we were more disappointed in ourselves because it happened.
From this angle you can hardly see any damage.
Since we were missing calls on our home phone number here in the trailer using the Turbo Hub we attempted to find a transformer that would fit the phone but everywhere we went nobody carried a transformer of that voltage. We finally just bought a cordless phone system slightly different than the one we already have at the apartment and this one will be kept in the trailer.

We had plans to meet with my aunt Anna and uncle Bob for lunch at the Mandarin Restaurant for lunch. Of course we were early and hoping Bob would be here this year as he hadn’t been able to join us last year due to health reasons. We were happy when we saw both of them coming in the door. It wasn’t long before we were seated and once our server had taken our drink order the feasting began. Even though we all ate more than what we would normally do we still kept it light enough that we were all able to walk not waddle when we left the restaurant an hour later.
My aunt Anna and myself.
We continued our visiting back at their apartment where we spoke of many different things from their recent trip to the east coast to visit with their daughter Susie, Bob and Kathy’s recent medical changes. We spoke of things that we’d experienced while we were growing up as children and how it has helped us being stronger in our adult years. We also spoke slightly of our past travels and what our plans are for this coming year. Before we knew it was past 5:00 and even though we wished we could turn back the clock so we’d have more time to talk but Bob’s back was seriously bothering him so we left with plans for future visits.

Driving back through the city of London there was construction slowing us down every corner we turned and people were trying to get home after working all day so when Kathy and I spotted a Taco Bell we pulled in for a light supper. We did eat inside and were amazed when we looked across the street to see a Beer Store with a drive-through window. Now we’ve seen everything. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. We know what you mean about sleeping better in the trailer. When we visit people, they're always asking us to stay in their guest bedroom where we'd be more comfortable. They just don't get it.

  2. We've spent 2 nights in a hotel while the RV is being repaired, and none of us are sleeping well!!

  3. I just caught up about the trailer, and my thought on it is that you bought the equipment to use it... And even with a few marks and bends, your gonna still use it... Use it all up!!! Its got a long way to go.. LOL
