After almost a week of not sleeping properly Kathy and I managed to crash and sleep solid throughout the night. By the time we had our breakfast it was nearly 10:00 by the time we got to our computers. By 11:00 Kathy was back to purging more of the binders we had on the office bookshelves. I took a different route and got down to exercising again.
While eating lunch an old Diane Keaton movie came on that we always see the end of but never the beginning or anything in between. We both enjoyed it even though it had nothing to do with RVing. The moral of the story was that living the fast paced life of a business executive was not worth missing a life filled with family and friends.
When that was over I took a quick shower and shave before heading to the grocery store to pick up food we were running low on. Kathy decided to stay home and continue with more purging while I was gone. There is now another full recycle bin of papers waiting to go through the shredder.
Last evening we had received a phone call from Kathie and Ross asking if Kathy and I would mind going out for Chinese Food supper tonight. We met them at their apartment and visited for a bit before heading out to a small little place called Li’s which is located on Tecumseh road in Windsor. Kathie and Ross have just recently found this place and are happy with the food. Kathy and I have been buying food from Li’s for over seven years and have never been disappointed as a fact when we order take out from them we generally order a single meal that more than fills the both of us.
The conversation flowed freely and many a laugh was shared as well. The food was as good as always and again required containers for meals that will continue to be enjoyed tomorrow. When it was time to leave Ross picked up the tab saying that we were their guest as they had invited us. Thank You Kathie and Ross for a delightful meal, companionship and conversation. After leaving the restaurant we headed back to their apartment for a cup of tea and more conversation before finally heading home.
Once we were back at home we settled in on the computers to read everyone’s RV blogs before calling it a night. The way the weather keeps on changing back and forth it makes you wonder if Christmas is only 65 days away or sooner. Thanks for following and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
