As I suspected last night with all the fresh air I had while washing and waxing the car and truck yesterday there was no troubles whatsoever to sleep.
Also as predicted by the weather channel the upper 70’s temperature we had yesterday have gone south probably not to be seen again in this area until next spring. When we awakened this morning the temp was sitting at the upper 50’s but had dropped by noon. Add an increased north east wind it feels cold enough to start closing some of our windows.
This morning Kathy got caught up on her bookkeeping while I got back into the exercise again. Hopefully I can maintain not only the exercise but increase my will power of not overeating. The overeating could be a problem especially since Kathy is such a good cook but also this Monday October the 8th is the Canadian Thanksgiving and the temptation is always there.
Since there is only 80 days left before Christmas and we are now 80% completed for our shopping and wrapping we decided to just concentrate on other things around home today. We worked on organizing a new recipe box for Kathy. We also did further research on our upcoming trip for this winter.
Kathy and I would like to welcome new followers Mike and Gina to our blog. They have a blog called Delusion’s-Drifting & Diaries with “Duke-Duchess & Dutch”. It seems they started this blog a few years back in preparation to full-timing but have only made a few entries. Hopefully they can start telling us about things they are doing in order to get ready to be where they are planning. We wish them well and hope we might be able to talk of something on our own blog that will help your journey to full-timing along.
Thanks for following along with us and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.

Your Thanksgiving day is like ours, a calorie exempt day.
ReplyDeleteGonna be a busy weekend for sure, lotsa family and too much food.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving. Hope your long weekend is great. I hear if you eat cranberries with your turkey they absorb the calories from the whole meal... :) I am willing to give it a shot.
