Father’s Day Greetings and Memories.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

I can only pray that Kathy will be able to have a good night’s sleep soon, but I suspect it is still a couple months away.

It was only minutes after Kathy got up that her Banana Pancake was cooking. By the time I joined her with mine, she said that my pancake making had really improved. I didn’t mention that I lightened the batter. It was also at that time that I found we had run out Cooking Oil.

We wished our son Kevin a Happy Father’s Day while he was out cruising on his Boat. He was enjoying himself and the family was beating the Heat.

That meant when it came time to make lunch, I had to find something to make while not using Cooking Oil. The answer was Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. That’s when I used the last of our Olives. Now we had a Shopping List going.

After cleaning up the Dishes we were soon on our way. We’d travelled less than a Mile when we both realized neither of us had brought our Water Bottles and the outside temperature felt like 95 F (35 C). Looking straight ahead was the answer that would save us from turning around. We stopped at McDonald’s and got Two Pomegranate Smoothies.

They immediately lowered our body temperatures. We were not the only ones walking around the Grocery Store drinking Smoothies. Our Shopping List grew as we walked around the store, and we ended up walking out with Three Bags of groceries.

Once everything was put away, I was just about ready to start making Stir-Fry when our daughter Rose called to wish me a Happy Father’s Day. We spent quite a while talking, even remembering what happened Twenty Years ago. She had taken us out for supper, then later that night, Kids got in our backyard and set our garbage container on Fire. Little did they think ahead, because the Flame went right up the back of the house. It was Five Months before we moved back into our home.

By the time we said goodbye it was too late to make Stir-Fry, so we shared another Modified Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Pizza. With the extra Mozzarella Cheese and Mushrooms, it filled us for the night.

We hope that all our Male Readers had the chance to enjoy a Happy Father’s Day.
